This lovely duplex cottage is located 280 yards from Nantucket Sound Earle Road Town beach. Completely renovated in 2005 with a full applianced eat-in kitchen, living room with vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, screened porch, central heat, full bathroom, and washer & dryer. Large backyard with it's own patio, outdoor furniture, BBQ grill, and outdoor shower. Short walk to beach - no need to drive. A great location! Please inquire concerning 2 bedroom side of cottage.

Close by: Ferry to Nantucket is 1.5 miles away. Restaurants, supermarket, marina, go carts, bumper boats, batting cages, and trampolines all within a half mile. Approximately one mile to miniature golf and the Cape Cod bike path going from Harwich to Wellfleet. Harwich has a PGA 18 hole golf course and a 9 hole golf course.

Beach: Short walk to town beach (Lifeguard on duty July & August) without crossing any major roads.

Quiet: Cottage located on side street with little traffic. Family orientated with great neighbors.

We rented both properties on Gordon road, the cottage and the attached house. Both were exceptionaly clean and had very well stocked kitchens (which worked out great for all of the chefs staying in the house:) The outdoor showers were great and the close proximity to the beach was so convenient. The beds were also super comfortable which is not always the case with a rental. The only downside to this rental was the lack of light in the backyard at night. If you wanted to sit out on the patio and BBQ after the sun had gone down, it was unfortunately a bit dark, we even bought some outdoor lights but there wasn't an outlet close enough to the area to provide light. I would recommend bringing an extension cord. I would also recommend renting the cottage next door if you are renting the house. The properties are attached and the backyard is shared. If you don't mind meeting new people and mingling with your neighbors than you have nothing to worry about. However, if you prefer to have privacy and the yard to yourself, you might want to consider splurging for the complete package or splitting with friends. All in all, the vacation was great and we hope to do it again!
