My family stayed here in August and were terribly disapointed. The house is up for sale and is barely furnished and poorly cared for. The listing says four bedrooms but there are only two beds in the house and some futons. There is no outdoor furniture to enjoy the view and two dining room chairs are broken. The cable was cut off and the blankets and towels were old, dirty, and tattered. The owner would not even return a phone call. Stay away.
Owner's Response: This house is fully furnished with new furniture. It was built only four years ago. It is a luxury home, with beautiful views.
These people were very strange. They were dificult from day one. They have no credit cards, no checks and no pay pal affiliation. And, they insisted on someone meeting them there to pay cash. They were them 3 hours late.
They broke the two chairs they were speaking of, and the cleaning service noted that they left the house a mess.
The house has four T.V.,s with a large flat screen in the living room. These people do not own a T.V.and did not know how to operate it, after several calls to me. We always have cable, They are lying and are trying to slander me.
After receiving many e-mails from these people prior to renting, I knew they were strange, and had an unsual lifestyle. They beat me down for a 33% discount, what a mistake.
The fact that they say we have only 2 bedrooms is crazy. There are 4 spacious bedrooms all with new furnishing and views of he lake and mountain. This house is almost 4000 sq. ft., again they are lying.
The Out door furniture consist of 6 stackable chairs, 2 table, picnic tables, fire pit, 3 grills (2 gas) 4 beach chairs ect. Also there is an aluminum row boat for your use, a sundeck at the lake , a boatdock, and two decks on the house.
Blankets and towels are plentiful and clean for every guest.
I stopped returning phone calls after over twelve calls that were random and crazy.
People like these should stay home,and not inflict themselves on normal people.
I attempted to deal with all there concerns until it was obvious i could not please them.
Where can 8 people rent a luxury 4000 sq. ft. waterfront home, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, walk in showers, jacuzzi tub, 4 full baths, 4 bedrooms, ect. ect. for $200 per night ( a 33% discount) They only stayed 4 nights --- The usual minimum is 7 nights.
I am shocked at there review, but these are very strange people with very strange customs and I wish them the Best.
