Nice, quiet home away from the busy Coastal Highway but close enough to the beach, bay, restaurants, and shopping. The unit is nicely decorated with some minor cosmetic issues (ex. gap in door), but nothing that affected our stay. The owner was easy to reach, answered emails in a timely manner, and was very accommodating.
The house was just right for our family of 4. The week we stayed (end of June/early July), the weather was great, and beaches were not too crowded (don't recommend July 4th--too crowded!!). Kids enjoyed fishing/crabbing down the street at the bay when we weren't at the beach.
Accommodations listed in the information packet for the rental were right on target. We had plenty of room to move around, lots of storage, and plenty of seating. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cooking gear; we had good wireless access, and working TV's in each room. Having a heavy duty washer/dryer is a plus.
We stayed next door to a larger group of 6+, 20-30 year olds but barely heard them all week. We had plenty of hot water and good water pressure the whole week, especially with laundry, dishwasher, and teenagers
We will consider renting this unit again in the future!
