The Seabreeze Cottage on Whidbey Island is a quaint waterfront cottage designed for people wanting a relaxing, first-class getaway. The 180-degree views provide a stunning view of Puget Sound. It is tastefully decorated with antiques, slip-covered chairs and a couch, and French doors. Relax in front of the stone fireplace while reading a book, or sit on the large deck while sipping coffee and watching the eagles soar and seals play. The bedroom has been furnished with the Heavenly Bed Collection to ensure a restful night sleep. This is the same bed collection found at the Westin Hotels.

Amazing Place

What a relaxing place for my wife and I to reconnect with each other. We spent 5 enjoyable days exploring the beaches, shops, and watching movies by the fireplace. Cottage has everything including bath robes and slippers. Kitchen is better equiped than my house (and there was plenty of hot water). Thanks also for all the service and ideas on where to explore on Whidbey prior to our arrival. Lots to see and do if you want or just sit and watch the water and birds.

Disappointing

The cottage is clean, quiet, well equipped and nicely situated. After arriving we discovered that there was no hot water and that the water heater circuit breaker was tripped. Calls to the owners provided no assistance although we did get an e-mail response that they could call a plumber - which hadn't occurred by the time we left. Also didn't get any apology from the owners for this deficiency or inconvenience.

Had hoped to get away from our on-going home remodel project and get some R&R. Ended up wishing we'd stayed home and bought a case of good wine for the cost of renting this for the weekend.
Owner's Response: Our guests did, unfortunately, stay at a time that the hot water heater had quit functioning (unbeknownst to us). We responded via email and phone to our guests and said we could contact a plumber if the situation had not been resolved by resetting the breaker. We never heard back from them again, so we assumed (erroneously) that the issue was resolved. When our cleaning lady notified us she couldn't get hot water the day of their departure, we called the plumber and had the hot water tank replaced. Our apologies to our guest for their experience, and we wish further communication had taken place during their stay.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our anniversary stay here for the past two days. The cottage was perfectly clean and is better supplied than any place we have stayed in, especially the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the view of stormy winds and waves were fabulous as we enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace. Thanks!

What a wonderful cottage! The setting could not be better.
We felt ourselves unwinding as soon as we walked through the door. The tips on places to visit was also great, we look forward to returning.
