Our home is, minutes from white water rafting, hiking, biking, lake, rock climbing, pool, restaurants, racing, fishing and playground. Lots of off street parking. Private flat back yard. Relax in our living room with Cable TV, DVD, fireplace and w/queen sofa bed. Kitchen is fully equipped. Picturesque, breakfast area has 3 walls of windows with wooded view, sliding glass doors open to deck. Each bedroom has Cable TV, ceiling fan, dresser and closet. We provide many extras cleaning supplies, iron/ ironing board, alarm clocks, board games, DVDs, books, beach chairs, porta crib & more.

I just wanted to write to let you know that we had a great time. The house was better then the picture. The book you left with things to do and places to go was really good and set up very nicely according to activity. The games and movies that were there were also very nice. We didn't want for anything in the house. Everything you said you had was there. And there was plenty of room. It was nice everyday getting up and seeing the Deer in the yard. It was very peaceful and quiet, just what we want when on vacation. We were lucky the weather was good so that we could go to the beach/pool. We tried to leave the house as clean as we found it, we hope we did a good job.

I have already recommended your house to my family and will recommend it to my friends.

Thanks again for letting us rent your lovely home for our vacation.

Great Winter Retreat

I loved this house. The owner was very helpful from the start in answering all my questions and ensuring that the home was what I was looking for. I believe this house would be perfect for winter and summer, because there is a nice lake nearby (and of course the Poconos).

perfect weekend!

i recently stayed at the bear lodge and must say i had the perfect weekend! the house is absolutely adorable & even prettier than the pictures portrayed. there was a binder stuffed with information about the area and things to do while visiting. we had lovely fires each night and went out skiing during the day. skiing was only 15 minutes away and we all had a great time. we came home and made a huge dinner, which was easy to do since the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed. there was plenty of room, even with my larger group of 10 guests. the owners were so helpful the whole way through, i don't know how they could have made it any easier for my stay. i definitely plan to come back. if you're looking for a rexaling or even an adventure filled weekend i recommend this house! it is the perfect getaway and guarantee you'll have a wonderful time too!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Sweet home away from home

I love love love this home. My family enjoyed everything about this house. We would love to buy a home just like this one some day. But until then we will continue to rent this home. The deer and turkeys out back were so relaxing to watch. The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was loaded with supplies. The house was clean. Last but not least the owners were very sweet.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My first experience renting...

My guests and I had the best time staying here. The owners were very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. As a first time renter I was very nervous but it turned out to be one of the easiest things I've ever done. Now I have more people wanting to join so now I have to find a bigger house this year!!! But I wish that I was able to do business with these property owners again. Great experience.
