Welcome to our Lake House!:
We'd like to welcome you to our lake house! We've owned the house for a few years and we thoroughly enjoy using it ourselves several weeks a year. We rent it when we're not using it ourselves. Because of that, we have it furnished to utilize for us and also for you. Whether you come in the summer for the water fun, come in the fall for the beautiful fall foliage, come in the winter for the skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing, or come in the spring for the hiking, golf, and fresh air, we hope you will RELAX and find this a retreat you'll want to enjoy year after year! -Marie Presti, Owner
Boaters/Improvements:
For our Boaters... NH requires all drivers of boats and water vehicles to have a license. Parker Marine located at the tip of Alton Bay (about a mile and a half away) has boats for rent and can be reached at (603) 875-2600. Gillan Marine is about 12 minutes away and also offers boat rentals ((603) 875-8848). There are over 200 islands on Lake Winnipesaukee, some private and some open to the public.
We'll be updating each room over the next year and hope you like the improvements. For example, in Sept 07 we just installed all new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen including new stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Last Spring we purchased all new furniture for the family room. Who knows what new items we'll have by the time you arrive!
