This charming rustic cabin is very secluded and perfect for the nature lover. Take in the gorgeous mountain views from the 2 decks or see the wildlife on hikes right out the back door. Just minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone, both with wonderful restaurants and quaint shops. Appalachian Ski Mountain is only 15 minutes away and there are 3 other ski resorts all within 45 minutes. Nearby are Moses Cone Memorial Park, with hiking trails, bridal paths, trout streams, lakes, and cross-country skiing; the Linville Falls/Linville Gorge area with trails leading to the head of the falls; and Grandfather Mountain, the highest peak in the Blue Ridge. Other area attractions include the Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park , the Blowing Rock, golf courses, tennis courts, areas for biking, canoeing, rafting, rock climbing, fishing, and swimming, as well as concerts, theatre, and art exhibits. This home feels away from it all, yet is the perfect location to explore this beautiful area.

Quiet seclusion

My son and I had a grand weekend at the cabin. It was clean, well maintained and had plenty of linens, towels and even soap, shampoo, etc. We dealt with John, one of the owners and he couldn't have been more accommodating. The description of the cabin was accurate but it takes longer to get to from Blowing Rock than the mileage would indicate, about fifteen minutes, as you are on a rustic, gravel road once you get off 321. I would recommend this cabin and would like to return, when possible.
