Located in beautiful West Maui, 'The Pikake' is located directly on the ocean. Gorgeous, unobstructed, breath-taking views of the Islands of Lana'i & Moloka'i. This is the perfect location for whale-watching (Dec. - Mar) turtle-watching, swimming, snorkeling, boogie-boarding, etc. There is a coral reef just a little off-shore which makes the beach calm enough for children to play. Our completely renovated kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need to whip up a fantastic meal, or a casual snack. There is a grocery store just a short walk away. Laundry room right on the grounds with washers & dryers available for your use. Beautiful new loft with queen size bed, desk & walk-in closet. We have high-speed internet if you want to bring your laptop. We even have a printer with paper & ink! Absolutely spectacular! You will want to make this Condominium your home-away-from home.

Activities: There are brochures and pamphlets located in the laundry room. These activities include: Mountain-Biking Down a volcano, Horseback Riding, Para-Sailing, Surfing instruction, Snorkeling tours, Dolphin tours, Kayaking, Jet Skiing, Sunset Cruises, Helicopter tours into the Rain Forest, Drive to Hana, etc.

Dining: There are so many fantastic restaurants in Maui. There are menus & brochures in the laundry room for every restaurant on Maui. From $ to $$$$ some of our favorites: Longhi's, Kimo's, David Paul's, Roy's, Maui Brewing Co (Fish & Game), & Kobe's. Our favorite breakfast: The Gazebo at Napili Shores. Beautiful view of Napili Bay and the best Macadamia nut pancakes you'll ever have, guaranteed! Try 'em with their famous coconut syrup and a glass of POG (Passion, Orange, Guava juice) yum. My husband loves their omelette's but tell 'em light on the cheese, they can really cheese it up.

Beaches: We have a beautiful beach just 20 steps away, but there are many famous beaches close by. I like to valet my car at the Sheraton Maui. This is where beautiful Black Rock is located. Wonderful for snorkeling. You can rent lounge chairs & umbrellas or a cabana from the Beach Rental Shack. If you eat lunch at their fabulous outdoor grill restaurant they will validate your valet stub. Napili Bay. Park at the Seahouse Restaurant and walk down the stairs to another beautiful beach. Just across from the Gazebo.

Golf: We are located directly in between the Kapalua Golf Course, and the Ka'anapali Golf Course.

Mahalo for a great week at the Pikake! We took the ferry over from Oahu, along with my mom who was in from Virgina. The whales put on incredible daily shows- we had front row seats from the lanai! We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets and great swimming right in front of the condo, along with the sea turtles! The loft was a great spot, falling asleep to the sounds of the Pacific Ocean was a highlight! The condo is in a perfect spot, close to many markets and restaurants- we had more than a few take out dinners that we enjoyed on the lanai as the sun set and the very friendly neighbors blew the conch shells! The owners were very friendly and a wealth of Maui knowledge! We highly recommend this condo and hope to get back to it!

What a nice getaway

We got back to Seattle last Tuesday, early morning before sunrise. It was freezing cold, especially after having temperatures in the high 80s for a week. We think Maui is an exceptional place to stay, it was marvelous. We really liked staying in your condo, we slept very good, although we had to get used to the noise of the breaking waves at night. What a noise! We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai and watch the whales playing. Sometimes they came so close, that we could even see them without the binoculars. Wonderful animals. The kids loved the lawn and the beach. We explored the island and found wonderful places, beaches, and many other things, and we already plan to come back next year.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas vacation at The Pikake. You can't beat the waterfront location with morning coffee and evening dinners on the lanai. The private sandy beach with excellent snorkelling on the reef is an added bonus. The condo is clean, quiet, and has everything you need to feel right at home, including free high-speed internet. The neighbours are friendly and the location is within walking distance to a farmer's market, coffee bar, shopping centre, and snorkle/boogie board rentals. The owner is also very helpful by recommending nearby restaurants and amenities. This was our second trip to Maui and this will be our preferred condo on our next trip back.

The Pikake is Maui's best kept secret! There is no place we'd rather stay than this small condo. We loved the quiet (all we could hear was the ocean waves), the beautiful beach (much of the time we had it to ourselves), the amazing view from our lanai (you are just yards from the ocean and can watch whales, sea turtles, incredible sunsets and full moons right from your porch as you eat breakfast or dinner), and the convenience (this condo has everything you'll need and is within two-minutes walk of a fantastic Farmer's Market, health food store with salad bar and hot bar, other restaurants and stores, coffee shop, snorkle/boogie-board rental, etc.). Other residents at the condo are super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a condo potluck out on the lawn on St. Patrick's Day. We did some wandering around during our week in Maui, but our best times were spent right here at this condo, enjoying the sun, the quiet beach, great neighbors, and swimming and snorkeling in the Pacific. The water is both fun and warm...you won't need a boring pool. You also will not need air conditioning; the ceiling fans and trade winds keep you very comfortable (and I am from Alaska and don't like to roast!). Kids will get a kick out of the geckos and lizards on the plants by the parking lot. What are you waiting for!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! Breathtaking views of Molokai and Lana'i...Third time staying here in this condo, wouldn't stay anywhere else! Immaculate, close to Front street..in between 2 major golf courses(Ka'anapali & Kapalua) Walked the beach to Black Rock every morning(2.9 miles)Enjoyed watching the turtles and whales while eating breakfast on the lanai. All amenities at your fingertips! All the comforts of home. You will not want to stay anywhere else!Aloha!
