Spanish Wells Vacation Rental house

This house was super clean and well maintained. It was the perfect house for my husband, myself, and our two children, ages 9 & 6. The owner was the most outstanding hostess we have ever met. She really saw to our every need and made sure that we had a great vacation experience. I would highly recommend this property to people who are visiting Spanish Wells. Once you see the views from this house, you won't want to leave!

Our family spent 5 days at the windswept villa and really enjoyed this home. The house has amazing views of the caribbean and we loved watching the sunsets from the large balcony. This villa is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a beach outing. We had kayaks,beach chairs, kids beach toys,towels and whatever else we needed Lucinda found. Speaking of Lucinda, I have never met someone as accomodating and helpful as this home owner. When we arrived at the dock in Spanish Wells she was there waiting for us and had already rented us a golf cart. She arranged for us to go the local grocery store(even though it was closed), so that we could stock up on supplies. When we arrived at the home we could not believe the stunning views. The home offers 3 bedrooms(two upstairs and 1 downstairs) and 3 bathrooms. There is also a really cool home theatre downstairs with a full compliment of DVD's. The back of the property overlooks the ocean and there are steps that take you straight down to the water. You can launch your kayaks there or take a dive in the water. A few words of wisdom about Spanish Wells itself. This island is not a party island and the restaurants are average at best. You cannot order a drink on the island, but you can pick up liquor at the ferry crossing and bring it back with you. The secret to really enjoying this place is getting to know the locals of Spanish Wells. If you take time to open up and show a smile it will open up many doors. We enjoyed nights with Lucinda and friends while grilling fresh lobsters out on our balcony. We experienced homemade coconut icecream made fresh in our garage. We really felt like we where part of a special family in this community. What a wonderful time and we can hardly wait for our next visit. I almost forgot that this island offers exceptional beaches and great bone fishing. Go and you will return a better person!!

This was the best time we ever have had in the outer Bahamas!!! The owner of the home took us out fishing, spearfishing and lobstering! The home was gorgous and even came with plenty of food (fish) to eat. We really enjoyed the small island of Spanish Wells and the locals. The weather was awesome all week. Everyone was very friendly and I feel like we have new friends for life. The spearfishing and conch gathering was awesome. We were treated like family from the first day we arrived and would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to get away from the tourist traps and really enjoy the islands as the locals do. We never made it to any of the reataurants as we ate our daily catches every day. Lucinda and her family and friends were great and we are looking forward to seeing them all again!
