An unmatchable vacation awaits you at this completely private waterfront haven. The Main House has 2 bedrooms-a water view master bedroom with a queen bed, fireplace and private deck allowing access to the waterfront yard, outside shower, and path to the dock. The 2nd bedroom, a built-in twin on the upper floor, overlooks the same waterview. These two bedrooms are on their own end of the house, affording quiet privacy. The vast majority of this Main House consists of the impressive great room-almost entirely glassed walls overlooking the water and framed by the over sized deck. This 40 foot x 30 foot room consists of the kitchen, dining room, and living room areas-an expansive and inviting room perfect for entertaining or lounging under its raised ceiling. The Guest House, across the deck, boasts 3 bedrooms-2 queens and a double, one with a small private water view deck. All are on separate levels, radiating from the small water view living room, a double bed loft above. 5 boat

We are on a cove of Tisbury Great Pond (a saltwater pond) which ends at the private ocean Quansoo Beach, or you can drive and use our Black Point (ocean) Beach key. We have 5 completely private acres, and are minutes from two nature preserve and walking areas. We have 5 watercraft for exploring the magical Great Pond- egrets, ospreys, oystering and crabbing are all available- you can motor, sail, or paddle -whichever you prefer. We are 1 and 1/2 miles from West Tisbury center- here one finds the Farmer's market, Alley's Store and congenial rocking-chaired porch, a deli, art galleries, antique fairs, artisan exhibitions, the library and playground - all within a 5-7 minute drive. Quansoo and Black Point access introduce you to an inaccessible part and flavor of the Island that few ever experience. Combining all this with a 20 minute drive to all down-island towns allows you a seclusion and accessibility not found elsewhere on our enchanted Island- the magic will astound you !

    We are flexible as to arrival and departure dates in order to accommodate ferry ticket availability.
    Off-Season: Main house only available. It is centrally heated as well as having 2 fireplaces.
  • We are flexible as to turnaround days in order to accommodate ferry tickets, and flexible as to length of rentals, 1 week minimum.

  • The Master bedroom has a private deck and fireplace. It overlooks the water, and allows immediate access to the waterfront yard with hammock, the path to the dock, as well as the outside shower. The small upper level bedroom boasts an oversized window with waterview. The guesthouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 queens and a double, as well as a double in the living room loft area. There is a waterview from one queen bedroom private deck on the second level,, and of course from the guesthouse living room, across the deck.

This is a fabulous house for big groups. There is a great living area/kitchen and outdoor deck that was just perfect. The pond access and boats are a delight, and provide access to private Quansoo Beach via the water. There are many activities to entertain all ages, and the house is located within easy distance of everything on the island, and so close to Alley's Store and the farmer's market. The house is cozy and stunning and we all felt right at home, and there was ernough space for everyone. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
