We were stunned by the simple beauty and elegance of this wonderful vacation home. Located in a very private neighborhood and set with gorgeous views of the pond from every room and the spacious deck, this is just paradise. 'Nana Camp', so named for the organizer of our extended family annual summer vacations, really stood this year out for our group of 11. Especially nice were the twin houses, so that the individual families could each have their own space, and all met in the great room/kitchen for relaxing and fine meals together. Nice touches include the outdoor showers, private dock, deck with gas grill, fully equipped kitchen that is easy for prep/clean up, private decks off the main bedroom in each bldg for AM coffee and enjoying wildlife, access to the trails across the pond, the pond itself, and the fantastic beach at the end of Tisbury Great Pond (which had flow through during our stay and made for exciting body surfing) accessed by canoe, kayak, and the outboard skiff available for use with the house. Internet access is important for all and there is an impressive library of DVDs available, with good selections for family viewing in the evenings. The house comes with private keyed access to Black Point Beach, which is especially nice to have an uncrowded serene high quality experience (only 54 key members, apparently). Even for the seasoned MV vacationer, it is rare to have this kind of amenity. Through the real estate agent (Deborah Eggers), we had excellent and prompt response to all of our questions and needs before, during, and after our visit. Anyone renting on the Vineyard is sure to have their own priorities for activities - notable nearby for us were the paved bike trails access, farmers market and crafts fairs at the Grange building, and Chilmark Chocalates - multiple visits - Nothing is really too far from this location by bike, boat, or car. Overall-this rental was a fine value and made for great memories.
