This well appointed large corner unit is only 100 yards from the entrance to Kiawah Island's spectacular 10 mile pristine beach and 200 yards from Night Heron Park and outdoor pool. Also within walking distance is East Beach Tennis Center and KI's new 5 star hotel - The Sanctuary. The villa has a large bedroom with king size bed and 19' flat screen TV/DVD, living room with queen size sleeper sofa, fully-equipped kitchen with separate dining room, full bath, and porch overlooking the walkway to the beach. Guests in this unit have full Kiawah Golf Resort Privileges, including: use of heated/cooled pool, discounted golf fees to 5 world class golf courses, free on-island transportation, priority reservations at the Sanctuary restaurants and spa, discounted beach chair and bike rentals.

Kiawah Island is a small barrier island full service golf and tennis resort about 25 miles south of Charleston, SC. It is in the heart of the low country and has a spectacular 10 mile long pristine sand beach. There is something for everyone at Kiawah Island, including 5 world class championship golf courses, tennis courts, 30 miles of paved bike paths, boating, fishing, shelling, sailing, wildlife viewing, canoeing, kayaking, and the like. A new shopping center, Fresh Fields, recently opened at the entrance of Kiawah featuring a new gourmet market, small boutiques, and restaurants. In nearby Charleston, there is plenty of historical and architectural sightseeing, horse-drawn carriage rides, upscale shopping, museums, and plentiful restaurants featuring low country cuisine. The Google map marker for our property was incorrect and is therefore not included. Our villa is on the ocean side of Sea Forest Drive.

The villa is also 200 yards from Night Heron Park where you will find the heated/cooled swimming pool with poolside cafe and bar, a nature center where you can arrange ocean and marsh water excursions, basketball courts, playground, soccer fields, and picnic area. In the summer and during holiday weeks, the resort offers Kamp Kiawah for kids as well as numerous family-oriented activities. Just outside of the resort entrance is the Bohicket Marina where you can arrange for many boating activities, including deep-sea fishing and dolphin watching.

Staying in our Windswept Villa on Kiawah island was just perfect for me. I have a lot to deal with at home and Kiawah with it
s shaded walkways to the beach, biking trails, beautiful beach and cozy porch with great chairs for reading was just what I needed. We were in walking distance to both the beach and pool and also a pool-side restaurant. I got to see deer, blue-tailed lizards, friendly little squirrels, alligator and many birds. I had been wanting to vacation here for years and finally got to have the experience I had been waiting for, just what I needed.
