**Comments from a CT renter in 2010:

We were very pleased with the beach house. The pictures shown on line were accurate; but they did not do justice to the warm and inviting character of the beach house. The house was clean and very well maintained, and it had all the accessories you would want in your home. The house itself was in a perfect location. You could look out the front windows and see the ocean. Looking out the back windows you had a beautiful view of the peaceful salt pond. The beautiful sandy beach was only a couple of 100 feet from the front door. The owners went out of their way to be accommodating and answered all of my silly questions. The places we went to eat were Estia (a very good Greek restaurant) and Spain. In closing, I was sad to leave the house, but I take away many wonderful memories shared with my daughter and her little ones. Hopefully, next year we can build on these blessed memories

Cozy House on the Ocean

We were so pleasantly surprised when we drove up to this home. It fronted the ocean and past the green backyard was a salt pond. There was easy parking, and a very cozy, warm home with plenty of space. The views from each room were beautiful, the beach was a short walk away, the beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to going back in the Spring. The owners were very pleasant and very nice to deal with. We had a great time!!

Relaxing and Peaceful

Our family enjoyed our stay in Matunuck Beach in this great beach house! We enjoyed morning walks down the beautify stretch of beach. The beautiful ocean views and relaxing sounds of the waves in the front yard, and the peaceful salt pond in the back made this a wonderful, restful vacation before the hustle and bustle of our daughter's wedding . The house was bigger than the photos show and very well equipped and stocked. Need a pizza cutter? They have one, as well as wine glasses, a vase, plenty of cutlery, dishes and picnic ware, nice linens - anything you possibly need. Everything was nice and clean on our arrival. There are plenty of hangers and closet space in each room, enough so my daughter's dress had it's own closet. Don't miss the grilled oysters at the Matunuck Oyster bar - you can get there on the salt pond or by driving around. We road our bikes to the pizza shop, grocery store, ice cream stand and church in Matunuck. It's close to a lot. The owners were very nice to work with and to share their beautiful home with us. We look forward to another stay!

A Little Piece Of Heaven

My favorite experience was listening to the crash of the ocean waves right in front of the house. Great beachcombing, bird watching and relaxation, as well. It was even exciting to be in the thick of the coastal fog! So convenient for jaunts to Newport, Watch Hill, Wickford, topped off with a day trip to Block Island. This is my second time here and will not be the last!

More than a House, truely a HOME

House vs Home....This is sooo much more than I had expected my first time with my husband late December. I greatfully returned two weeks ago, alone... This home is comfortable, well kept, full of pride, peacefull, and most of all I feel safe. I can only imagine the home full of people, warm sunny mornings and cool nights. Being a Matunuck Renter for over 17 years, this is by far a hidden treasure. The family is wonderfull and helpfull. Every moment I spent there will always be fondly remembered with the sea in the front yard, and the beautufull pond in the back. Thank You again Leslie and Family for sharing your home with me.
