Comments from a recent renter from Tennessee: 'We had a wonderful time, and you have made the house so user friendly that it was almost like home. (only with a better view!!!) Waking up to the ocean out the window, coffee on the deck, and kayaking in the pond will be tough to match on any other trip we take. I will be delighted to recommend the house to anybody I know heading to New England!' Why Matunuck? Matunuck is how vacation ought to be! Forget the commercialism of Cape Cod and its traffic......This house is located in southern Rhode Island right on the Atlantic Ocean with Potter's Pond in the backyard. This is an area of wide beaches and relaxed lifestyle. Here vacationers return to a simpler life of walking miles of shoreline, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, biking back roads, the smell of fresh local sweet corn, the freshest seafood, local products from farmers' markets, or the scent of salt air.

Cozy House on the Ocean

We were so pleasantly surprised when we drove up to this home. It fronted the ocean and past the green backyard was a salt pond. There was easy parking, and a very cozy, warm home with plenty of space. The views from each room were beautiful, the beach was a short walk away, the beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to going back in the Spring. The owners were very pleasant and very nice to deal with. We had a great time!!
