Our group vacations in the area every year and hit the jackpot with this rental home. It was everything that was advertised, owners were great to work with and we can't wait to return. What few things needed improvement have already been taken care of!!! The layout is perfect for a group or family with pleanty of space to spend time together and the bedrooms allow for privacy. Everything was clean upon arrival and the guest book was full of praise from many guests. Enjoy your stay here if you are fortunate enough to make a reservation!!!

A Disappointment

Two weeks prior to writing this review, we emailed the owners to tell them about our experience and our disappointment with the house. We have received no response.
When you first walk into the house, you think "This is spectacular" but after spending a hour there you think "This WAS spectacular, but a few years ago". Great layout, beautiful fireplace (almost impossible to make a good fire), lots of room for a large family (which we were), and a very good location, BUI worn furniture, carpets, poor kitchen (we had to buy pots and pans and clean what was left just to boil water.
We had a surreal experience getting the driveway plowed after 18" of snow. We were the only house on the road no plowed, had to make several calls to get the snow plow to come. The plow made two cursory trips up the driveway. We called the owner to get the rest of the driveway plowed and when the plow truck driver returned with more attitude than anyone renting should ever be forced to listen to.
Finally, the hot water and water pressure is almost non existent.

The house was absolutely gorgeous. The description and pictures could not capture how perfect it was. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, that night it snowed 3 feet. Saturday morning when we woke up the steep driveway was already plowed, it was so nice to have that done. The house is stocked with towles, sheets and blankets, etc. It was well cleaned and maintained. The only thing is that we wanted to grill and there was no propoane. The owners were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. I would recommend this property to everyone and we will be going back next year. We skiied and snow tubbed at Mount Snow and had a blastn then we came and relaxed all night in the hot tub. We brought our own food and cooked every night with all the supplies they had in the kitchen. This is one of the nicest houses I've stayed in.
