Set In the heart of Tuscany countryside, at the top of a hill, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. A group of typical farmhouses, once home of the local farmers and now completely restored maintaining the Tuscan rustic feel. From the houses, the gardens and the patios the “postcard like” view is absolutely breathtaking: Borgo Fajani is the south facing part of Casanova, a small and quiet country hamlet. It is the perfect location for days of relaxation as well as an excellent base for exploring the region. Tuscany’s main towns are within close proximity: San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence Lucca and Siena are all within a 40 miles distance, as well as the seaside which his only 30 miles away. Tirrenia Golf Club is just 40 minutes driving far.

“Il Signorino” is a picturesque detached brick farmhouse arranged on two floors. Ground floor entrance into the large sitting/dining room with Tuscan fireplace; two brick columns divide the sitting and dining areas, at the same floor there is a bathroom with shower. Stairs to first floor lead to two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bathtube. But what makes “Il Signorino” something really unique is the astonishing view you have from every part of the house.

Borgo Fajani lays on the “Strada del Vino”, a route linking the main wine producing farms and caves of “Alta Valdera”, an area known for its excellent wines set on the Tuscan 'Colline Pisane'. At your arrival you'll find a updated note with all the 'tips' to enjoy the surroundings: restaurants, wineries, caves, shops, country fairs, events and so on.

Excellent and charming house

Thank you Alfredo for the lovely week we had in Il Signorino. It was a lovely house with beautiful views of the Tuscany countryside. The house was very well thoughtout with lots of space and charm. The rooms were all of a good size and were very clean. The pool was lovely and having your own outside eating area and sun bathing terrace was bliss especailly to eat your meals whilst admiring the beautiful countryside. The pool and sunbathing areas were cleaned daily.

Alfredo was very helpful and kind, with lots of local knowledge. Alfredo recommended towns to see and places to eat. He even knew of a fishing lake for my husband to do some Italian fishing!

We would definately recommend Borgo Fajani and we hope to be back again soon.

Fabulous Vacation

We thououghly enjoyed our stay at Il Signorino. The farmhouse was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The pool was refreshing - and also well kept. We appreciated the products from the nearby farm - particularly the wine at 2.5 euros. This location was an easy ride to Pisa, and to the train in Pontedera to travel to Florence. Alfredo was a great host, providing recommendations for activities and restaurants. We loved the pergola where we gathered for meals abd cards, and had the opportunity to connect with other renters. We would definitely recommend this property to other Tuscan-bound travelers.
