This brand new oceanfront condo has spectacular views of the ocean and is just steps from a sandy, bathing beach that stretches for 5 miles. There is an indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, plus an exercise room, gas grills, lounges and beach chairs for you to use on the premises. This tastefully decorated unit has two bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and gorgeous views. The second bedroom has four twin beds (two bunk beds). There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Other amenities include: four balconies, gas fireplace, off-street parking, a/c and ceiling fans, 2 TVs with cable, DVD/VCR player, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. There are a variety of family restaurants and ice cream parlors as well as miniature golf, kiddie rides and amusements, and a water slide within just a few blocks. From the duplex, it is 20 minutes to the Foxwoods Casino, 30 minutes to Mohegan Sun Casino, 20 minutes to Mystic Seaport.

We are just 20 minutes from the Foxwoods Casino, 30 minutes to the Mohegan Sun Casino, 20 minutes to the Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, and 25 minutes to the Ferry to Block Island and 5 minutes away from Watch Hill.

Also, Amtrak has frequent stops at Westerly Depot which is about 8 minutes away from the condo.

Other Activities: miniature golf, water slide, kiddie rides

The unit is terrrific, nicely appointed, clean and has a great location.

The only negative is Al. He is the Beach Security guy that wanted to make our week miserable! He said one thing 1 day, changed his mind the next and then reversed himself again the following day.

He smoked cigarettes all day long in his corner on the beach but he decided we could not. The first day we were there he said that the fire pit could be used for a beach bonfires, the next it couldn't be used on the beach but in the courtyard area and then the next day it could not be used at all!!!!!!!

He stated that only 2 chairs and 1 lounge chair could be used per unit---- and he would come by and count the chairs being used -- although there were tons available and we had brought our own chairs!!!!

Day 4 he decided we had to wear wristbands, while no one else in the private beach area had to and he recognized us from the prior days. It was one thing after another with him.

We spoke to a lot of the neighbors to see if they had a problem with us and they said no. In fact most of them ended up socializing with us.
We called the real estate agent and the property manager to intervene and they stated that he likes to give the renters a hard time. Not good---he should relieved of his duties.

We loved the units and the proximity to the beach but would not go back if Al is still there.

We loved our week at this beachfront property. The condo was beautiful, with ocean views from almost every room. It was clean, fully equipped and well maintained. There was a common play area for the kids, an indoor pool and hot tub (the heater in the pool was broken - our only negative comment), arcades and amusements a short walk away, a water park across the street, and eateries a short distance from the condo. The beach was beautiful (beach towels and chairs were provided as well). A family friendly environment. We can't wait to revisit next year!

Very clean well maintained property. Specatcular view of the ocean and very close to the ocean with a very clean and private beach. Hot tub and pool were very nice and clean. Great location with shopping and restaurants nearby.

Our overall experience was great and we really enjoyed the property. The only drawback for our family with small children was: no laundry facilities and the property is on the top floor with many stairs to climb. We rated this as good vesus excellent for these reasons but for anyone else this property would be rated as excellent.

Also the resort management person was terrific. The owner of the unit was very pleasant and accomaodating as was the realtor who orgainzed the rental with the resort. We can't wait to come back when the kids are older!
