Photos and Description of the Windham vacation cottage rental 2 1/2 BR sleeps 6+ full BA, new deck and dock.

The cottage is located on Highland Lake in Windham, Maine and only 11 easy miles from the scenic Sea Coast City of Portland located on Casco Bay with numerous waterfront attractions including the old port district famous for it's shops and restaurants. The cottage has recently been refurbished with a new deck overlooking the lake and a new enlarged dock. A BBQ grill is located on the deck and an outdoor fireplace is located on a lower level patio area also overlooking the lake. A number of Adirondack chairs are located around the deck/patio area for your comfort. The cottage also comes with the use of a canoe. Fishing gear will also be made available to guest. Cable TV along with family videos and books are also on hand inside the cottage. During the off season, the cottage is available for Ice Fisherman, Hunters, and other sportsmen.

Great Stay

If you are looking for a clean, rustic cottage, and on a beautiful lake, this is a great spot. It is 20 minutes from a lot of tourist attractions, but is nestles away in a small town. My husband and I have 2 kids the cottage fit us well, I would not recommend it for more then 4 people.

We had a great experience with the owner as well!

A great little cottage with all the amenities you would need. Right on the lake with a great view and sitting areas to enjoy it; especially viewing the loons. Lake was very clean and great for swimming and water sports. I hauled my 17ft boat to fish. Launch area very small and shallow. Would not suggest anything more than 17 ft. Easy to get to cottage and close to groceries and other shopping. Movie theater also...good for the rainy days. I only wish we had more sun during the week we stayed.
