Ogunquit Vacation Rental cottage

My family and I absolutely loved this cottage! The place was clean as a whistle, had everything you could want in a cottage and a lot of unexpected extras. A bottle of wine and a personalized "Welcome" note greeted us. That started things off nicely up front!! There were games, DVDs, Premium channels, beach toys, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, spices, nice silverware, nice patio furniture, a Weber gas grill, etc. etc. etc.
The house is exactly as described and as clean as it looks in the pictures. The outside is even nicer than the picture. The yard is large and open and bordered by trees and is very private. The beds were comfortable and there's a variety of pillows. The kitchen, dining area and livngroom area are all open and it's nice and airy - plenty of room for the 5 of us. Plenty of room to put your stuff. There's a large 3 window picture window in the livingroom overlooking the river and the deck overlooks the river too and it's very pretty. The deck has some nice patio furniture and a nice big blue umbrella. The beach is a mile from the cottage but you can take the trolley which less than half a mile down the road to get into town if you don't want to drive. We liked being so close to everything but away from the crowds at bedtime. It was just so nice and peaceful there! Our 14 year old loved having his own room (huge room!) in the bottom floor with the ping pong table and it's own doorway out of the house. He liked the freedom of being able to walk around town on his own and we liked not having to worry about him! Our five year old twins loved the rolling waves and huge beach - so did we of course- and they also loved the toy store in town, catching crabs off of the Footbridge, and running around the grounds at the Ogunquit Lobster Pound on Rt. 1. Had great meals at 5-0, MC's, and Jakes on Rt. 1 in Wells. We felt we saved a substantial amount of money being able to make meals at the cottage. (The kitchen set up is very convenient) And it was great having a washer and dryer. The whole experience was wonderful.
