My husband and I just returned from Ajijic and had a delightful stay at this special condo. The owners have made sure that everything you could possibly need is there and accessible. The staff at Birds of Paradise were helpful with anything we needed and also extremely friendly, willing to share tips with us, etc. Susie, the housekeeper was very efficient and friendly.
The Pool was always sparkling clean and things like the pool lawn-chairs and access to wi-fi by the pool made us want to spend many an afternoon there.
The owners, Wayne and Clarice are very gracious people and very accessible. Clarice is quick on email and was willing to answer many, many questions about the area (favorite restaurants, taxi service, bus fare, and more.....), prior to us arriving. All of her tips were very helpful while we were there. And did I mention the decor? The condo is beautifully decorated in authentic Mexican decor. There is a nice view of the lake off the front terrace and when looking out on the back terrace, you will be in awe of the mountains. They appear to be within arms reach. Beautiful.
We would highly recommend a stay at Birds of Paradise and especially at Wayne and Clarice's condominium.
