East Hampton House Rental Photos and Description
- 3 BR, 2 full BA, sleeps 6
Contemporary, saltbox house with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan allows for those fresh, cool summer breezes to flow through out the house. The living area has french doors that open to a cedar deck, which leads to a large, child-proof enclosed pool. The open kitchen has updated GE Profile APPLIANCES, plenty of flatware, dishware and cookware. There’s an outdoor shower, wrought iron patio furniture and a BBQ – perfect for all your summer entertaining! The location is in a wooded area, near scenic bay beaches and only 5 miles to the Atlantic Ocean. Approximately 4 1/2 miles to the towns of Amagansett and East Hampton, and about a twenty minute drive to Montauk. Northeast of the village, is the hamlet of Accabonac Harbor, Gardiner’s Bay and Three-Mile Harbor. The Springs is famous as the homes of William De Kooning and the Krasner-Pollock Museum. Some of the most spectacular and serene beaches can be found here in the calm of the bay water - great for families!
Previous renters find the house and neighborhood perfect for family getaways. There is very little street traffic, so kids can ride their bikes, scooter, roller-blade and play catch in the yard. The BBQ is great to grill some locally caught fish and fresh veggies. The kids (us adults too) love the chimea for those summer nights and for making s'mores.
The first floor has the kitchen, full bathroom with tub, living room and bedroom. Second floor has the master bedroom, guest bedroom and full bath with shower stall. Skylights and flat screen tv are in the master bedroom. Living room is equipped with 54 inch flat screen tv and Sony playstation. We have tons of movies and games for the entire family. No need to bring books, as the house is filled with mysteries, travel, sailing, photography and wine books.
- children welcome
- non smoking only
- pets not allowed
Living full time out here since 2007. Fell in love with the Springs area after renting for a couple of seasons myself! Just recently married, my husband and I travel a bit for our careers, but we spend as much time here as we can with our daughter.
Kelly purchased this house in 2004
Why Kelly chose East Hampton
It's a quiet area and you rarely even see a car on the street! The area is great for bike riding, hiking and water sports!
What makes this house unique
Spending time with family and friends can be so hard to come by these days, with harried schedules, schools and well, just life! I strive to give the house an ambiance which induces the warmth that comes with those special moments - because they are so far and few between. Between the comfortable furniture, nice linens, pool, bbq and chime - you rarely have to leave the house if you wish!
