Truly A Log Heaven & Beyond!

We first visited A Log Heaven on the summer of 2002 with our whole family. We loved it and the kids loved it! There is so much to do in Bryson City and the surrounding areas! The cabin is absolutely fabulous -- charming, cozy, clean, excellent condition, beautifully decorated, private, close to everything, gorgeous open front porch and wonderful screened back porch with eating area, sitting area, and ping-pong table! We had so much fun! We visited again without our children this past October '07 for our 25th wedding anniversary and fell in love again with A Log Heaven, Bryson City, and the Smoky Mountains! Five years later we found A Log Heaven again in excellent condition in every way with new amenities which added to the overall beauty of the cabin and property!
There is SO much to do in the Bryson City area and during our two visits we took advantage of many things -- hiking, horseback riding, river rafting, a train ride through the mountains, biking, tubing, pontoon boat trip on Lake Fontana, restaurants and small-town shopping with some of the nicest people on earth...but we also just loved being at A Log Heaven as it is so peaceful, relaxing, cozy, and beautiful!
It was so nice to find that everything was exactly as described on the website since this was the first time we ventured to go somewhere without a personal recommendation! The owners are absolutely wonderful people and this was reflected in every element of our visits: inqiries, scheduling dates, necessary information from the owners about A Log Heaven and helpful suggestions about what to bring and things to do in the area, friendly communication about things like weather and odds & ends that would be helpful to us, best wishes for a great visit/vacation, follow-up, etc. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WHICH WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND HAVE TOLD MANY FRIENDS ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!
