If you are looking for the perfect get away then we are probably what you are looking for. Our cottage is out of town so you are guaranteed peace and tranquility whilst breathing in the spectacular views from inside or outside.

Kerford Cottage offers a very high standard of comfort and convenience, privately owned and run by the owners giving all guests a truly personal service . Lounge with traditional style open fireplace and multi fuel stove, colour television with satellite, spectacular views overlooking bay and surrounding countryside. Kitchen/dining area with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine/tumble drier, iron and hair dryer. Bathroom fitted with electric power shower, wash handbasin and W.C.

Outside is a decking area to sit, relax and take in the breath taking views of Kenmare Bay and surrounding Mountains, or on an evening sit out here and enjoy a barbeque!

Bedlinen and towels included.

Electricity is paid for on day of departure - cost is dependent on what you use.

Please note: Smoking is only permitted outside of the cottage.

Water Sports: A new watersports centre, pub and restaurant ils situated half mile from the cottage - canoeing, kayaking, hill walking etc.

1, Kerford Cottages has a lounge with traditional open fireplace with multi fuel stove, satellite tv, panoramic views of Kenmare Bay. Kitchen/dining area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer, iron and hairdryer. Three bedrooms, two double (one with ensuite facility) and one twin, all beautifully furnished. Bathroom fitted with electric power shower, wash handbasin and W.C. The lounge has the French doors opening up onto the decking area outside - with wonderful views of Kenmare Bay and mountains.

Wonderful Cottage

The Kerford cottage no.2 was just wonderful, from top to bottom. Everything was very clean, organized and very nicely decorated. The view onto the Sea was really nice (although the weather could have been better) and we were always looking for possible seals at the shore. We got to know the area very well, after doing the Slea Head Drive and the Ring of Beara. Also the pubs and shops in Kenmare are beautiful and you could always hear live irish music in the pubs.
I can strongly recommend this holiday home because of the perfect setting and it's friendly home owners who welcomed us so warmly;-)

Wir waren zu 4 eine Woche im Ferienhaus und es war genauso schön wie beschrieben. Der Blick aufs Meer ist fantastisch und das Ferienhaus hat alles was man braucht. In der Nähe sind zwei gute Restaurants, so dass man nicht jedesmal nach Kenmare fahren muss. Auch ein Nationalpark mit wunderbaren Wanderrouten ist nur 5km entfernt. Insgedsamt ist dei Lage ideal, wenn man etwas Ruhe will und trotzdem nah an all den Sightseeing-Möglichkeiten sein will.

Margaret war sehr hilfsbereit und hat sogar einen Überraschungsbesuch ermöglicht.

Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Well equipped,clean and comfortable

We had a great week in Kerford a very peacefull and relaxing place to unwind. The views are really wonderful even if the weather was a bit mixed. The cottage is very well equipped and the pot bellied stove a welcome addition on a cool damp night. The property is as described by the owners on the website and the owners were most helpful and welcoming. I would be more than happy to stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet in this lovely part of Kerry.

Wonderful journey

We spent a wonderful stay in Kenmare. The cottage was very comfutable and furnished with gout. All around is calm and the view ok Kenmare River very considerable. Margaret and her husband are very friendly.I deeply recommend this destination of holidays. Thanks for all.

This holiday cottage was everything we wanted and more. It was a peaceful haven situated in an amazing setting. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants to get away from everything and relax.
