Charming, rustic Cape Cod cottage in the heart of the National Seashore overlooking beautiful Higgins Pond in Wellfleet. Spectacular wooded location. Swim, fish, kayak or canoe from your private launch site on property. Enjoy a 10 minute walk through the woods to Newcomb Hollow Ocean Beach or a short stroll to sluice-way beach between Gull and Higgins ponds. Drive 5 minutes into historic Wellfleet for dining, gallery browsing and sight-seeing. Cottage includes a master bedroom with queen-size bed, A/C and large windows with a lovely pond view; 2 additional bedrooms (one with twin-size bunk beds and one with children’s bunk beds); a living/dining room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and views of pond through expansive windows; a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and microwave; a full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet; a stacked washer/dryer and plenty of closet space. Outside, there is a picnic table, charcoal grill, lawn chairs, storage bin and enclosed outdoor shower.
