UNIQUE, RUSTIC SUMMER COTTAGE AT WATERS EDGE!!

Plymouth Cottage Rental Photos and Description

2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 to 5, screen divides two rooms

Follow the winding wooded pathway down the hillside to your retreat nestled on the shores of Micajah Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This cozy cottage is truly rustic with knotty pine walls and wood stoves throughout.

Decorated with original artwork and boasting an incredible view of the water it is a tranquil retreat anyone would enjoy. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the enclosed sleeping porch just off the master has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top and the living room sofa pulls out for an additional queen bed.

The large upper deck has a beautiful view of the water and smaller lower deck is at waters edge with stairs leading right into the water. There is a sandy space for the little ones to play and a neighborhood beach 5 cottages down.

The upper deck and small yard are fenced and gated to help keep small children from wandering down to the water without an adult.

Amenities include 2 kayaks, a canoe, a paddle boat, life jackets, sand toys, cable TV and grill.

A quiet and peaceful get-a-way ...: Kayaking is wonderful anytime of day, but it is an especially relaxing activity in the beautiful light of the early morning or at sunset.

Micajah Pond is protected by conservation laws, which prohibit motor boats - you'll never have to worry about noise and diesel fumes.

If you like to fish, the pond is well stocked and you are sure to catch something just from fishing off the deck.

There is a small sandy beach at the cottage for the little ones to enjoy and a nice private neighborhood beach five cottages down the lane that you are also welcome to use.

4.5 actually. centrally located, well stocked with literature for all ages, babies to adults, clean, quiet, restful, close to beaches, plymouth plantation, the Cape, Boston. We enjoyed the sounds of the ducks and frogs at night.

Beautiful sunrises

The time we spent at Crooked Pine was the most delightful vacation. We'll cherish the memories! Just sitting on the deck, watching the sun come up over the pond, and, the most glorious rainbow, were just a few of the wonderful experiences! It's just so peaceful and tranquil there and the close proximity to Plymouth and the Cape make it an ideal vacation spot!Thank-you, Bridget & Carl,we look forward to our return!

We spend a wonderful week at the cottage with my sister and her husband. We loved the deck and spent time fishing, watching the turtles & just enjoying the view. We even built a campfire a few nights and made s'mores with the ingredients that Bridget left for us. We loved that the cottage is close to so many things to see and enjoy, and we could come "home" each night to enjoy the cottage.

Along with our 12 year old grandaughter we just enjoyed a week's stay at Crooked Pine Cottage. We had a great time kayaking, swimming and fishing on the pond and enjoyed BBQ's on the deck. We did day trips to Boston, which was very nice and also Cape Cod, where we enjoyed the beach.
The weather was really nice, just one storm overnight. We were sorry to leave. One week is not enough!

My husband and I, and our 5-yr-old daughter and 2 yr-old son enjoyed a two week vacation at Crooked Pine cottage! We were so greatful that everything was childproofed, as that is a main concern for us when choosing a private vacation rental. Too boot, there were toys and books and muffins left for us! Of course, besides safety, Crooked Pine had so much more to offer! We loved kayaking, swimming, blueberry picking along the dirt paths, cookouts while watching the sun set from the huge rustic porch, and playing lite bright when it was just dark enough to! We also loved the location of Crooked Pine cottage, nestled in the woods down a dirt road, yet just miles away from shopping in the nation's most famous historical town of Plymouth. As a matter of fact, while in town once, we witnessed a procession of Pilgrims marching through town! Thank-you for allowing us to add Crooked Pine cottage to our chest of fond memories!

We stayed at crooked pine cottage for one blissful month. We enjoyed the beautiful location of the cottage on the water and in the woods. Although rustic, the cottage had everything we needed, and we fished, swam, went out in boats and inflatables, built campfires and listened to the wind through the trees. A great experience!

This is a great little hide-a-way in America’s hometown. Plymouth is a town with many attractions, historic sights and great golfing. The cottage is only two miles from downtown and beaches. Downtown Plymouth is located on the waterfront and has some great antique shops and many good restaurants.

Some local tourist attractions include Plymouth Rock, The Mayflower II and Plymouth Plantation. Take a day trip to Cape Cod. It’s only a 10 minute drive away. Boston is a 40 minute drive.
