STUNNING, IMMACULATE AND ENORMOUS, SUMMER AT THIS 6000 SQFT BEACH HOME!

We love staying at this large, charming and comfortable home. We have gone to MV for years, but this is by far our first choice. We stayed all over the island, but we like East Chop and specifically this location right near the BEACH, the best! The house is great, very clean and gigantic with everything we need. It really feels like a VACATION, even for me!
The owner is great, she greets us and make us feel welcome. She always makes sure we had everything we need, even installing a baby gate for our children (triplets) and leaving us stickers for our trash.
Based on the pictures, we thought the house would be okay, but it far exceeded our expectations (they should take new pictures!). Every year we are anxious to see what new improvements they have made. Last year new marble countertops in the kitchen and shower in the master bath. The kitchen is always fully stocked, almost like a hotel (but with character). The bedrooms are Large and comfortable, with charm to spare! There are even two family rooms, one group can play games, while the other watches a movie. The large porch is my favorite spot.. always breezy and peaceful.

We took advantage of the owners special, if you stay 2 weeks, you receive a discount. My only regret is we didn't stay longer. Next year we are planning a longer vacation. A great place to relax after an busy/active day at the Beach.

We have stayed at this amazing house for the past 6 years. Previously, we changed rental houses often, unable to find a decent place, which was reasonably priced. When we found this home, we hit the jackpot! I am hesitant to write this review, because I don't want anyone to try to take our spot! The house is terrific, enormous and spotless, even the sheets are new and fresh.

The perfect location, far enough away from the crowds to enjoy our privacy, yet close enough to walk or bike everywhere. We are near everything: great restaurants, the movies, ice cream shops, shopping and fabulous JETTY BEACH. Far enough from the chaos of downtown to be relaxed, and let our children run around and ride their bikes without worry. East Chop is a great place to ride your bike (the hill on mass eve. builds stamina).
The master suite is large and comfortable with large double closets (I love not having to share my closet!). The first floor "Guest Suite" is even larger, with a romantic brass bed, private bath, fireplace and comfy sofa under sunny french windows. The kitchen is stocked with more stuff than my own kitchen, which is a big plus (we don't have to constantly run the dishwasher). The two family rooms are the perfect gathering place to watch movies or play games.
The front porch is unbelievable (I could sit out there forever). A tranquil and breezy space to enjoy coffee, a glass of wine or dinner. The gas grill and two picnic tables are perfect for the kids. My husband and I love the private outside shower. I could go on.....
The owner's are always helpful and patient, even rescheduling their airline flight when we missed our ferry boat one year. We feel like this our home away from home I would be happy to be a reference for this wonderful home. A fabulous place for a vacation!

A vacation to remember! This was our first time on the Vineyard and we could not have been more pleased with our vacation rental. We loved everything about this beach house. The house is large and roomy, lots of space to spread out and lots of places to curl up and read. Every room is charming and beautifully decorated. The house is in a great location - a short walk to the beach and to the center of Oak Bluffs. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. Comfortable, cozy and charming. A perfect beach retreat. Many thanks to the Whitmans from our family.
