Relax and watch the whales and dolphins swim by, cruise ships pass, or the surfing which takes place right before your eyes. Enjoy the oceanfront pool, or spend the day sightseeing in the quaint town of Kailua Kona which is a short stroll from the condo. You'll find shopping, restaurants, activity booths, and Aloha along the way. Honl Beach is steps away from the complex where you can enjoy snorkeling, body boarding, or an afternoon picnic if relaxation is on your mind. Lovely unit that was recently remodeled with bamboo flooring, granite counter tops, new queen bed, and tropical lanai furnishings. All excellent! The location was fantastic and we were completely satisfied. The condo had everything we needed and the beach items were so thoughtful. we used them everyday. The only thing I wish they had was a recycling bin under the sink. Thanks for a wonderful time we would recommend to anyone.

Overall a great stay at Kona Reef. Perfect location,great view. The sofa/futon is not the best choice for the living room but I guess it is necessary for extra guests. We were also disappointed with the crt tv. Didnt know anyone still had them. ;)

Great location not so good management. I had to argue for guess what: toilet paper (1 roll for 5 days...)!!!

Manager responded on 2/16/2013:
On the day the guest called, 3 rolls of toiet paper and clothers soap was delivered within a 1/2 hour of his call. The condos start with a starter kit of paper products and 2 rolls of TP which was there when they arrived.

Reviewer Comments:
We have stayed at Kona Reef many times. A-15 is nice but the futon takes up too much room and there was no alarm clock in the bedroom. The shower was difficult to turn on and restriction of towels was a little annoying. The lanai needs looked at as water leaks from the NW corner where a structural beam is. This beam is rusting quite a bit and really should be looked at soon. Also, the flapper in the toilet occasionally hung up and the toilet ran and ran.
