Grab a book, sit on the deck and RELAX. Just ask owner to plan your days or for directions or for where to fish.....owner lives in first floor apartment. Notes: There is no smoking in or on the decks of this rental. The maximum number of people include guests. Parking for renters two cars. . Older children only....10 yrs old or older. House includes two units, owner lives in one. The views are from all rooms so you may want to bring binoculars especially for the nature reserve. Some people like to bring tubes and at high tide play in the river. Biking is poplar here, also. Owner includes inside games for those quiet times. There are 2 t.v.s, dvd, and wi-fi.. If you are new to area, owner will happily help you find the great spots to eat and visit. Fresh seafood abounds so you can fire up the grill and have many a great meal. You won't mind it if it rains as the views are so beautiful and the house is light and bright. SPECIAL SURPRISE AMENITY FOR 4 and under persons....PLEASE CALL or EMAIL.

As you walk in the door, the first thing you will notice is the ocean view with waves crashing and an occasional lobster boat or sailboat . When you turn around, you'll see the Ogunquit River, kayakers, wildflowers, egrets, geese and the beauty of panoramic views of the wildlife preserve. This is what Maine is all about....you'll hear the ocean, see the ocean and smell the ocean. As you continue to look around ,you'll immediately see great care has been taken to have a spotless and comfortable place for you to enjoy. This is a perfect rental for two couples as each would have their own suite .. Or perhaps friends traveling together want some space, room to be together and room to be apart . If some of your group love the brilliant sun and some love the shade, the front deck and rear deck offer this at the same time. There is also a wonderful outdoor eating area on the rear deck with grill, umbrella table and chairs. Grab a book and relax. Listen to the ocean.

If you are an active person, feel free to bring your bikes. You can keep them behind the garage where you can also keep canoes or kayaks.I would suggest you bring a bike lock to use at all the places you'll cycle to. You can paddle to the Footbridge, the sandy dunes of Ogunquit and the mouth of the river at the huge public beach parking lot area in Ogunquit. Don't forget the golf clubs. You can bring your special beach chairs. Perhaps you are quieter. Bring your books, computer, binoculars and camera. If you sketch, you are in luck.There is something for everyone.....happy vacation.

We have stayed in this beautiful sunny home many times in mid-June and October to avoid the heat and the crowds. It is tastefully furnished and the owner makes sure you have everything you need. The best and unequalized feature of this home is its location. There is a public walkway to the beach nearby and the advantage of this particular home is the large deck overlooking the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge at the back of the house. After our three-hour walk on the beach we spend the rest of the afternoon reading and sipping wine in the back waiting for the sunset while people in the beachfront properties, in order to enjoy the sun, have their BBQ on the deck or in their driveways on the street side. You get excellent value for your money as the cost of rental throughout the season is well below the market. You will definitely not be disappointed. Lucia and Jean-Yves. Canada
