Only a short distance from a handful of beaches & only a 10 minute drive from Provincetown and Wellfleet. Our 5 bedroom house has everything you need: 3 1/2 baths, hardwood floors, sunny & airy rooms, a large deck for BBQs or watching the sun set over the bay, outdoor shower for after the beach, cozy enclosed deck for entertaining or breakfast, a cheery garden & entrance, living, dining, & family rooms, and a bright kitchen, all in a pleasant, welcoming environment. The kids will love the grassy yards & our assortment of games, books & toys.

Truro is perfectly situated on the Cape- 10 minutes in either direction will bring you to exciting Provincetown with it's shops, live theater, night life, fine dining, a great Health Food store, whale watching, National Seashore, Pilgrim Monument & swimming, fishing & boating, or historic Welfleet, where you will find artists, cafes, more theater, live music (like that at the legendary BeachComber), Hatches fresh Fish Market for lobster or oysters, and the movie theater, Drive-In, and huge flea market. Here in Truro you can visit a lighthouse, play golf, ride a bike, take an art class at Castle Hill, check out a book, CD, DVD, or get online at the library, shop for heaths & heathers at 1 of the 2 nurseries, spend the day at one of more than 8 lovely beaches, or stop by town center for a fresh pastry, gourmet coffee, or deli sandwich. House Details: Our open and bright modern-style home is a remodeled farmhouse owned by an old local family, for which the street the house is located off of is named (Perry Road). The downstairs is floored in hardwood, while the bedrooms and family room upstairs are carpeted. This spacious house has been our year-round family home for the last 18 years, and as such is well cared for. We welcome dogs up to average size (about 75 lbs), please.

Other Activities: Theater, art classes & galleries, Summer Recreation (ages 6-12, right down the road), Flea Market, swimming

A great Cape Cod vacation home!

What a great place to spend a couple of weeks on the outer Cape with your family. Plenty of room inside and outside. Very kid friendly. Although the house is not situated on the water, it is but a short drive to Corn Hill Beach or any of the other beautiful beaches in Truro. Corn Hill, the nearest beach is on the bayside or the inside of the Cape. There is plenty of parking(beach sticker required). At low tide, my four and five year old grandchildren can walk out a quarter mile in the warm, clear, shallow water.
The house has a washer and dryer on the main floor along with a beautiful large outdoor deck with a gas grill. The yard is large enough to play a small softball game, or Bocci or Horseshoes(and no poison ivy).
The house is situated on a somewhat secluded road, away from the sounds of car traffic. Provincetown with all of it's interesting shops and great restaurants is but a ten minute drive away.
And the landlord is great! This is our fourth year coming to this house and my family always looks forward to the special times that we have there.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: My five bedroom family home became an "empty nest" a few years ago. Not any more! It's a great place for families to get together and all live under one roof for a week, or better - two! Most of my guests return year after year and I'm so happy to see them again. It's a great way to cement memories of vacations on Cape Cod.

Utopia in Truro

We stayed here a couple years ago and it was the most
beautiful place we ever rented. We had tons of fun with friends and our little dogs. This place has everything you need and then some. Not to mention the place is huge and the wisteria is gorgeous. The owner was very sweet and helpful. I have nothing but fond memories of this rental home. You will not regret staying here.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
