Quiet north end of Amelia Island on beach side: This beach home is on the north end of Amelia Island's Fernandina Beach past Main Beach Park that doesn't allow noisy through traffic! It's the first exit south of the GA-FL line on Interstate 95 and 35 minutes from the Jacksonville International Airport. It's blocks from Ft. Clinch, a nice walk to downtown, a bike ride to anywhere, and only 110 Feet From The Beach!

The House: I've just purchased this quaint beach house, and it's undergoing a beautiful renovation with impeccable beach decor. It is a ranch with wheelchair access through the back screened in porch (which is oceanside). It boasts an enormous country kitchen adjacent to the living room. New pictures will be on in about a week with all new decor, furniture, and landscaping. It's on a beachfront block with about a 70 ft. walk to the beach.

Activities: Sharks' teeth hunting, surf-charter-pier fishing, fine and casual dining, shopping, gambling cruise ship, biking, surfing, tennis, golf, the Ritz Carlton amenities, Amelia Island Plantation's spa and shops, ferry to Mayport for Seafood, Historic downtown's carriage or ghost tours, night life, oldest saloon in America (Palace Saloon), Shrimp Festival, Ft. Clinch, putt-putt, water park, and soooooooo much more!

Golf: Enjoy the beauty of the private or public courses on Amelia, 144 holes worth!

This house has every that you will need for a beach vacation. The owner is very attentive to your needs and it is a good clean basic property - nothing fancy or extravagent but it suited our needs perfectly. Nice location for walking on the beach but not for viewing the beach from the house.
