FEERY TIX! 4 BR, 2 full BA, outdoor shower, sleeps 8

With a distant sweeping waterview, full privacy, and a total renovation, this property offers accommodations well above the norm. The large living room/ kitchen/ dining area is fronted by glass sliders leading to the wraparound deck-follow around to the rear of the house for access to the outside shower. On the 1st floor are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen, and one with 2 twins, both bedrooms have sliders to the deck for lounging in privacy. There is a full bath between them. No bedrooms share common walls as they are situated on opposite ends of the house- ever so peaceful for napping or sleeping at night. Going up the spiral staircase, one finds a queen bedroom overlooking the living room-you can close the wall for total seclusion or slide it open. Another full bath, and at the far end an office/ computer alcove and the waterview MBR with a queen bed. The home has central A/C, is decorated in high-end 'beach cottage' style, and epitomizes the best possible Chilmark vacation retreat.

Chilmark, land of the active water sport vacationer as well as the lounger! There are innumerable things to do in our area, both inside and outside, depending on the time of day or evening. From sunbathing to elite dining, from dockside lobster feasts to kayaking. Local dance, art shows, rocking chair reading on the Chilmark Store porch, body surfing at Lucy Vincent beach- the memories to be made here are too many to list. In a homebody mood? Horseshoes, enjoy the large private yard for kite flying or baseball, if that's your fancy.

  • Both bedrooms on the first floor have private sliders to the deck-these BRs are on opposite sides of the house. The sliders from these bedrooms to the decks also lead one to the outside shower access. On the second level, the master bedroom and the office/computer alcove are in their own end of the house. The MBR has a small TV w/ a DVD player. The other queen bedroom, in the other end of the upstairs, has a wall which can either be opened to overlook the living room area or can be closed off and appear to be a 'regular' solid wall, then affording complete privacy There is a south shore water view from the master bedroom, which with a full wall of windows is easily enjoyed while lying in bed or reading in the sitting area chairs in front of your wall of windows.
