This coveted property is one of the 6 houses on the knoll overlooking Menemsha Basin, Vineyard Sound, and the Elizabeth Islands. This cozy cottage is unrivaled - one is immersed in Menemsha's charms and yet removed in your personal aerie. There is a rare and usable stone fireplace in the living room flanked by a bedroom with one twin, and a large dining room/kitchen to the rear. A sun porch extends along the entire front and side of the house, leading to either the sloping yard or to the secluded deck to the side - all with unsurpassed views. The upper floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a smaller bedroom with 1 twin,and a tub bath with an attached shower hose. Just around the corner is Menemsha Pond where kayaking, canoeing and small sailboating beckon. The bike ferry to Lobsterville is a mere 2 minutes away and allows easy access to the furthest reaches and best fishing up- Island. This charmingly decorated cottage provides an opportunity for remarkable Vineyard vacation memories.
