This vacation rental home is situated in the beautiful Hollywood Hills with a spectacular view over Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards. Drive into the Ferndell Griffith Park entrance and wind your way on the Los Feliz Oaks lanes up to the house (if you continue on Live Oak there is a spectacular view of the Hollywood sign). The home features very large rooms with marble floors throughout the downstairs and wooden floors throughout the top floor. Additionally there are marble bathrooms, views from every room, a koi pond, BBQ, pool with waterfall and hot tub, billiard room, wet bar, fireplaces, and two HDTVs with satellite and DVD.

Hollywood is just down the hill with the Magic Castle, Mann's Chinese Theater, Warner Brother’s Studios, The Hollywood Bowl, Universal City, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive all within a short distance. This property is close to the Griffith Observatory, which is expected to re-open in 2006. Griffith Park has a zoo, museums, The Greek Theater, horseback riding, 3 golf courses, various tennis courts, hiking and jogging trails and the Batman Cave. Go to the summer concerts at the Hollywood Bowl or Greek Theater. Ride horses through Griffith Park from the Sunset Ranch, Hollywood Stables. Fantastic restaurants like the Cliff House and nightclubs dot the area. You can incorporate day trips to Disneyland and the beaches of Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu.

We were fortunate enough to have this property for 7 days for a party from the UK of 2 adults and 4 children. We had been to Florida for the previous 4 years and were trying the Los Angeles area. It proved to be an ideal choice for the various parks; studios; Santa Monica; Queen Mary; Baseball stadiums
The travelling times were less than expected.
The property has magnificent views over L.A. sweeping from The Dodgers Stadium to the east to Santa Monica and the sea to the west.
Meals overlooking the city were quite idyllic. The house is fitted out to a high standard of luxury and can be thoroughly recommended

We had a blast at this fantastic home - ran away for the holiday, felt like we were royalty among the celebrities. Great views, magnificent ammenties, wonderful grounds keeper, sweet koi fish. Day and night this is a place to enjoy.

A very beautiful home, and with views of LA that are just spectacular. The house is perfect for a large group of 8-10 with a great floorplan and plenty of space. The outdoor decks makes for a great place for breakfast, a super happy hour venue and evening fun time.

We had a terrific stay in a great home. The description in the advertisement actually in some ways understates what you actually get. From the quality of the fitout, the spectacular views and the proximity to motorways, Hollywood, Sunset etc made for a memorable stay. The housekeeper could not have been more helpful and was always available when needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for quality accomodation.
