MOST HORRIFIC STAY EVER!!! DO NOT RENT

I chose to have my wedding here in the summber of 2010. Everything that could have gone wrong did!!! The house was DISGUSTING and there was blood in several rooms, lice cleaner was found in the laundry room. I spent 11 hours cleaning the night before my wedding! The pool didnt heat, the hot water heater went out. The jacuzzi leaked into the 1st floor, the maintance man tried fighting my husband and father-in-law, money was never returned for a horrible stay!!!
Owner's Response: This was an unfortunate stay for this group. The manager's son had a horrific car accident the day before and she was not able to come in to supervise the cleaning crew. Though she never saw what these guests were discribing, she did send in another crew as soon as she got the complaint and they seemed satisfied then when she came to the house to see them the next day. One big, big untruth that stands out is that The cleaning deposit was returned and we refunded this group money for their unfortunate stay. Sadly we found the 'unhappy' couple divorced soon after the wedding so I think a lot of their unhappiness was due to extenuating circumstances which had nothing to do with the house but rather their unhappy situation. We did all we could to rectify the situation, but the manager said what ever proposals she put forward were met with a lot of unmentionable verbage from this person....some people are just not happy no matter what you do and it is in their nature to just be complainers.... no matter what. The strange thing is that there were only supposed to be three people staying but they seem to complain about bedrooms which they had no reason to be in and were not for their use. The heater was fixed by a repairman as soon as we heard, but the water again was not working in a bathroom which they really should not have been using at all(There are five bedrooms and they were only supposed to be in two). I personally spoke to the person who wrote this review and she was returned money for her stay and in exchange she said she would rewrite the review to say she had been compensated and that we had tried to work it out with her, but the original review remains.....all I can say is ....that in itself shows you the kind of person we were dealing with.
