Papermill Creek Cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom rental home located near the banks of Papermill Creek (Lagunitas Creek). The Cottage has spectacular views looking towards Point Reyes Station, Black Mountain, and the new Giacomini Wetlands. It is conveniently located near bicycle trails, hiking paths, ocean and bay beaches. Lush woods surround the back of the Cottage, a smaller creek on one side and abundant blooming flower gardens around the Cottage.

The Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area; one bathtroom; living room with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and WIFI; and two bedrooms each having a queen bed with luxurious linens and bedding. Perfect for two and comfortable for four people.

Papermill Creek is home to otters, native birds and occasionally a wayward sea lion! Put your Kayak in the Creek 50 feet from the front door of the Cottage. Paddle your way to Point Reyes Station or head to Tomales Bay where you can spend the day picnicking on pristine remote beaches and observing the native wildlife.

Your comfort and relaxation is our primary concern.

Incredible Respite from Everyday Life

What an incredible, affordable, well appointed and spacious cottage! The attention to detail at Papermill Creek Cottage was more than we could have expected; the owners were kind and attentive to our needs, while still respecting our need for privacy. Our stay was peaceful, conveniently located and very relaxing. We had all the amenities we needed and more. The views of Black Mountain from the living room were unreal and the abundant gardens surrounding the cottage were spectacular. A great stay for our family, we'll definitely be back!

A home away from home...

This cottage is perfect for a romantic rendezvous or family vacation. It is very clean, comfortable and roomy. The surrounding garden is beautiful and compliments the location well. I stayed with my 3 year old son, Dad and his girlfriend and we ALL loved it. It was nice to come back to after a long day of exploring. The small yet spunky town is a hop, skip and jump away with a couple of nice restaurants, bakery, gift shops,etc.

Also, the cottage is in an awesome location for those that are planning to take advantage of the area and its vast surroundings.

The owners were very welcoming and provided the privacy we had hoped for.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Adorable and convenient

This location is fabulous if you want to explore the Point Reyes National Seashore. And it is just minutes from town. Right across the street is a neat hiking trail along the creek. The owners live next door and provide just the right amount of attentiveness while allowing privacy. The place is clean and cozy and well appointed. The garden is wonderful. The only drawback is that it is on a busy street. While we were indoors, we didn't notice but sitting outside in front on Sunday morning it was a tad distracting. I would definitely recommend this this property.
