This attractive clean three bedroom, two bath home is available year round and comes with a 'Free Fishing Pass for Up to 6 Persons at the Hatteras Fishing Pier just minutes away'. The cottage is located on the Sound side but is equally as close to the Ocean, and not far from the National Park Reserve. Want to fish or watch the dolphins in the Ocean, windsurf, kayak or fish in the Sound (boat ramp nearby), or just enjoy the beautiful and historical Hatteras Island, then here is where you want to come as Rodanthe is near midpoint between the Wright Memorial in Kitty Hawk and the village of Hatteras where you can catch a 'free' car ferry to Ocracoke Island to enjoy its quaint village and sites of yesteryear. In the evenings, relax in the 4-person hot tub and enjoy the magical and romantic Rodanthe Nights! This cottage rents Saturday to Saturday, but partial week renting is available during all but 'Prime Season'.

I-95 South to Rocky Mount, NC, Hwy 64 East to Manteo/Nags Head and South to Rodanthe on Hwy 12.. Rodanthe, Salvo, Waves, are 3 linked villages centrally located on Hatteras Island, minutes from Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk and Manteo to the North, and Hatteras Village to the South where you can drive aboard the free ferry for a scenic, comfortable 20 minute ride to historic Ocracoke Island. There you can enjoy prowsing the shops in its quaint village, see one of the oldest light houses on the outer banks, dine at one of its several fine restaurants, or, for a small fee, travel on by ferry to the mainland at Wilmington, NC. Even during peak season, these communities do not have the traffic or beach congestion as the northern towns such as Nags Head, Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills. yet itheir location is an ideal jumping off point to see attractions throughout the Island!

This house is wonderful, it has everything that you need and it is comfortable. Our family of 6 enjoyed our week stay at Jersey South. I highly reccomend
