Description of the Marblehead vacation house rental
Come stay in this charming Marble head house, steps from a private rocky beach (sandy town beach close by) with a lovely deck overlooking a pond. The house is newly refurbished with all furniture and linens. The living room, with has sliding doors out to the deck over the pond. There is a full kitchen and small dining room that seats 6. First floor also has a half bath and laundry room. Upstairs there is a Master Bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. There is a loft with, love seat and TV/VCR/DVD. There is a 2nd full bathroom. There are 3 other bed rooms. One has a queen bed and the other 2 have 2 singles. Ample off-street parking. Linens are provided. Quiet one way street steps from a private neighborhood rocky beach. Town beach, with food and playground is a 5 minute drive away as well. Marble head is a great destination with its 17th and 18th century homes, boutiques, antiques, museums and harbor. Salem is 10 min. away; Boston a short train ride or 40 min. drive.

Marblehead, located on Boston's North Shore, is a wonderful blend of old and new. While it is known as a fishing/yatching community, with a fun town beach, it is so much more. You can stroll though Old Town, lined with historic homes on cobblestone streets while you browse the numerous antique stores, boutiques and galleries. There are wonderful restaurants in town as well. Come during the annual Arts festival or enjoy a concert at Crocker Park. Visit the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings on your way to the world-renowned Peabody-Essex Museum in Salem, 10 min. away. Boston with all it has to offer is only a 30 minute train or car ride away.
