Great house, less than 15 minutes from the Strip!

We just spent a week here in January, and totally loved this rental house. At first we had worried that we weren't close enough to the Strip for going out at night, and to the convention center where I was having meetings during the day. But everything was a short 10 to 15 minute drive away, and quite franky it was nice to escape the hustle & bustle of the Strip at the end of each evening. The house is located in a nice well-maintained subdivision, and it gave us a taste for the city of Las Vegas beyond the Strip. The location also encouraged us to try out some of the nearby local restaurants, shops, and casinos for a change, which we found to be much more economical than the high prices on the Strip.
The house itself is totally cool - huge HD TV, nice pool table, big hot tub out back, good-size yard with big palm trees. It shows a little wear here & there, but nothing that would prevent us from eagerly staying here on a future trip. Thanks to Ash for all of his help, even when there were some issues with the reservation - he's a totally helpful and fair dude to deal with!
