Description of the Winthrop vacation house rental
Completely remodeled, well-appointed year round home, spectacular lake views, all the comforts of home, and lawn to the waters edge. Perfect romantic retreat for couples or an inviting playground for a family vacation. Wake up to the relaxing sound of the loons with your own private waterfront and dock. Explore the lake using the 2 person Old Town Kayak and canoe provided. Enjoy relaxing sunsets from the hot tub overlooking the lake.
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has hardwood floors, inviting furnishings, and a well-equipped kitchen. The living room opens up to expansive lake views. The master bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed, huge walk-in closet, and bath. Downstairs includes one bedroom with a full sized futon and the upstairs bedroom has two twin beds. All of the bedrooms have lake views. Enjoy 120 feet of waterfront for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Feel free to bring your own boat to enjoy 7 mile long Maranacook Lake with superb boating and bass fishing.

For winter snowmobilers and cross-country skiers, this house is ideal with many central Maine snowmobile trails in the area and 7 miles of lake to ski upon.
The water quality for fishing, swimming and recreational use is exceptional. The Winthrop Lakes area is close to shopping in Augusta, antiquing in Hallowell and the many summer features of the region. We are only a 45 minute drive to Freeport's L.L. Bean and other outlet stores.
