We fell in love with the view from each room of 4 states and 4 mountain ranges. Also, the proximity to Ski Beech and many fine and casual restaurants.
The fresh mountain air and walking the ups and downs of the surrounding terrain. All kinds of nearby attractions, the cultural events from the 2 local colleges close by. Lee's McCrea and Appalachian State which is part of UNC University system. The restaurants and culture of downtown old Boone and good shopping. Also, proximity to the artsy town of Blowing Rock with its fine shops, galleries, the new Brahm Art Museum and the Tanger Outlet Mall. Nearby Jonesboro Story Telling center with interesting stores and historic places, is the oldest town in Tennessee. Great chain store shopping in the next town, Johnson City, Tn.
I definitely understand finding time to do things.
Thanks for the extra time. We actually left around 8 that morning before I read your email. It wouldn't have made any difference in our departure time. We planned to go to Beech for the morning ski session.
I'm very glad I didn't wake you up when we arrived and that you had a solution to the key.
We had a great time even though the weather didn't cooperate. The view of the mountains is lovely and the kids really enjoyed the games.
Thanks for sharing your home.
My family of 5 recently stayed in this condominium for a long weekend visit. It was just what we expected because of the helpful YouTube video we were able to view. It was very clean when we arrived and we found all that we needed in the kitchen. The visitor's guide that the owners made available to us was helpful and provided a number for a local property manager should we have any issues.
We went in early Spring, so there was not an overabundance of tourists around. A few more weeks into the season, and more foliage would have been blooming. We still had such an amazing time! We hiked Grandfather Mountain, visited the original Mast General store in Valle Crucis, went to Boone's downtown, hiked the best trail, Boone Fork, and ate pizza from Bullwinkle's. All of us agreed that it was one of the best times we've experienced and would love to go back in the summer for rafting and more hiking/biking.
I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for anyone wanting to get away to the Western Carolina mountains.
The Lentin's were super helpful and great to work with when renting their property. This property is one of the few I've rented that absolutely has everything you might need during your stay. Such a cozy and inviting home that would be perfect for a family getaway or like us a group of friends looking for a place to stay on a Snowboarding trip. Super convenient to the ski slopes and comfortably slept the 7 of us that were on the trip with enough space for it not to feel over crowded. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking and you can't beat the price either! All of us would definitely rent this place again in a heart beat if we are ever back to Beech Mountain.
This condo was amazing! I've been coming to this area for years and just love the scenery, food, the skiing and what's close by. This condo has a full size washer and dryer which is nice if you have a large group, the furniture is nice and comfortable and the views are some of the best in the Beech Mountain area. Two balconies have unobstructed views and we really enjoyed our stay!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
Lots of room for six people, the kitchen was well furnished and plenty of linen, towels and such.
Very close to Ski Beech and sledding downtown.
The Wi-FI was a very nice touch and much appreciated.
There was 10 inches of snow when we arrived so the skiing and sledding was great.
Lots of places close by to eat out; everything from Mexican, BBQ to burgers.
Had fun visiting Mast General Store, Boone and local stores in Beech Mountain and Banner Elk.
We would love to come back as soon as possible.
Our family of 4 stayed here for my wife birthday. First thing we noticed was that the second you entered you felt right at home. Plenty of room for everyone to have own bed . The views from one of the the 3 balconies was fantastic. Would stay again and again.
We are in the midst of the High Country in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
