‘‘Studio in historical center of Amsterdam’, situated in the historic centre of Amsterdam, is an ideal spot for both couples and small families.
This beautiful L-shaped ground-floor studio apartment can accommodate up to four guests. This former coach-house, with its authentic tile floor and wooden beams has a charming atmosphere that is reminiscent of the 16th century.
Although some of the historic elements have been preserved it has been updated to a proper and comfortable accommodation provided with everything you’ll need: A double bed, two extra single beds, heater, complete kitchen, bathroom with toilet and a shower a sink, a dining table, a desktop computer with internet and a dining table.
Three of us (academic women) stayed while at a conference at the University of Amsterdam. The apartment is ideally located, easy to walk to many museums and good restaurants. While the "red light district" was nearby on one side, walking the other direction led to quiet neighborhood streets and canals. The hostess was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. A "studio" apartment, its layout was nevertheless able to provide some privacy for unrelated women, as well as being welcoming and comfortable. We would all come back with our families.
Ubicación excelente, muy cómodo completo y calentito. La dueña muy simpática. Muy recomendable
Recomendado.
’Studio in historical center of Amsterdam’, is located in a small alley in the gorgeous centre of Amsterdam. You are only seconds away from the beautiful canals but also the famous Dam Square is very close by. Here you can find the old royal palace but also famous shopping streets such as the Kalverstreet.
Around the corner you can find the Nes. This street has a lot of authentic restaurants, but also galleries, comedy clubs and theatres.
Also the illustrious neighbourhood ‘Red Light District’ is around the corner. The Red Light District is famous for its sex shops and strip clubs but it has acquired an interest beyond these sexual themes. Nowadays Amsterdam is developing the neighbourhood to a more artistic and sophisticated level.
Since Amsterdam is relatively small, visiting other famous areas in and around the city center is a breeze. Due to the city’s compact nature, spots like the Museum, Rembrandt and Leidsesquare, as well as the Vondelpark, are at most a twenty minute walk away.
If you are not that fond of walking, public transport is provided all around this location. You are just a couple of meters away from tram stops that can lead you to different areas of the city.
