Hyannis Cottage is conveniently located to 4 beautiful Nantucket Sound beaches - warmest waters on the Cape!
Less than 7-minute drive and you are at Kalmus, Veteran’s, Orrin Keyes, or Craigville beach. Kalmus beach on the ocean side is considered the best in Northeast for windsurfing. The flat, nearly placid surface on Lewis Bay side of Kalmus beach is ideal for families with little kids. The sand slopes so gradually that you won’t have to worry about them slipping in over their heads. Veteran’s beach and park is a favorite with many families due to its shady picnic area. Keyes beach has lovely views out to the Atlantic. Craigville beach is one of the most famous on the Cape with its wide stretch of sand, lovely warm waters and many activities.
There are lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and snack bars on these beaches to facilitate family outings.
You can explore all 16 beaches in Barnstable with the BEACH PASS we provide – this will allow you to park for free at any of them.
Things To Do:
Hyannis Harbor with its deep sea fishing charter boat, ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, harbor cruises, parasailing and much more is a 15 minute walk away. No need to worry about very limited parking space – just walk up and hop on-board! This Hyannis cottage is located on a quiet street, close to the Main St. When you are not on a beach, take advantage of many fun activities this part of the Cape is known for. Enjoy a pleasant walk to all of the excitement, shops and restaurants Hyannis has to offer. Sample ice cream (or frozen custard!), learn more about American history in JFK Museum and Library, pop in to an amusement center for a game, or enjoy dining and music in one of the renown restaurants on Main St. You may also catch a Duck tour.
A favorite among area sight-seeing stops is the Cape Cod National Seashore--a stretch of preserved natural beach where picnicking and guided tours are offered.

When you return home, the cool, CENTRALLY AIR CONDITIONED home awaits you with its comforts. The house has been renovated, with all new paint, new bathroom and an updated kitchen. Read, play games ( 2 air hockey tables, Ping-Pong, TV set and PlayStation Nintendo in the basement will keep kids occupied for a while!), cook in our well applianced kitchen or on the barbecue grill, or get ready for a night out on the town, no need to drive, just walk to the happening Main Street!
Our Hyannis cottage is immaculately clean, freshly painted, with gleaming hard wood floors throughout the house. Our cottage is stocked with bed linens, towels, and beach towels for your convenience. There is a washer and dryer, pots/pans, various kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher. We do consider well-behaved dogs at an additional pet fee.
