Located between the sparkling Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil waters of St. Joe's Bay, Barrier Dunes enjoys a setting of uncommon natural beauty on St. Joe's Peninsula. 'Serenity Now' is steps from the beach and close to both of Barrier Dunes' pools. With its fun vibrant colors and gracious touches, you will immediately feel at home. Each bedroom has a full bath and its own private deck with the master bedroom deck looking out to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. 'Serenity Now' also has private outdoor shower, roomy enough to rinse off your little guys or just indulge yourself. The unit is stocked with toys, games, books, puzzles and videos for you to enjoy. Barrier Dunes boasts two pools (one heated) a playground, tennis courts, a clubhouse, 3 stocked fish ponds and boardwalks leading to the beach, not to mention being walking distance to both the bay and St. Joe State Park. You may not want to leave!

There are tons of great activities to enjoy on the Cape. For the fisherman in you, surf cast into the waves, fish in St. Joe Bay, rent a charter or drop a line into one of the three ponds on the property. With a newly completed bike path, the Cape is a great place to bike, and the state park is especially good with its great views and low traffic. If wildlife is your thing, take one of the nature trails in the park and get an eyeful of the migrating monarch butterflies. Or you can put your water shoes on and stroll out into the Bay for a look at the many creatures who make their home there including stingrays, sandollars, countless varieties of fish, and all types of crabs. If you have never experienced 'old Florida' you are in for a treat. Apalachicola is an old Coastal town only a short drive away and has great shopping and restaurants. It is a refreshing change from your typical tourist town with it's charming storefronts, and the oysters here are amazing!

Notes: There is a $100 pet fee. 'Serenity Now' is #88 on the Barrier Dunes map. We walk to the beach on the boardwalk which runs behind Sandpine Dr. and Sable Ci. It takes two minutes. There are two pools in Barrier Dunes, the main pool overlooks the beach and the second pool is only about 10 doors down from 'Serenity Now' and is now heated!
