Topsail Island, North Carolina is the place to go to enjoy some fun in the sun in an atmosphere where doing next to nothing is a highly regarded activity. This barrier island spans some 26 miles, and offers enough beach time to keep sun-worshippers busy for a month of vacations. The island's three communities, Topsail Beach, Surf City, and North Topsail Beach offer a welcome respite from the chaotic fun of other North Carolina beach communities. Of course you can enjoy activities like fishing, swimming, water skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and practicing for the suntan Olympics; you can just enjoy them amidst a less-traveled setting! Located on the north end of Topsail Island this family beach cottage is only three houses from the beach. The quiet, private location also provides an outstanding view of the sound from the screened-in porch and sundeck. The home is perfect and affordable for a nice get away.

Our Property is located in North Topsail Beach. We are on 24th Avenue, minutes from Surf City for restaurants, shopping, fishing, etc. Our street is very quiet, very family friendly. The kids can ride bikes on the street with no worries. At the end of our road, there are 2 options for beach access. Either Right or Left. If you choose Right, this is a large public beach offering food, bathrooms, etc. The public sound is also right accross from the beach. All within walking distance. On the sound side, you can enjoy fishing, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, etc.

This year we found out that my husband will be deployed to Iraq. This will be his first combat deployement in 16 years of service. We needed some family time to tell the kids and have some fun. This owner was more than gracious! The home is an older home but served its purpose. The island is wonderful, and the beach beautiful. Although we were hoping to see Jimmy Buffet we had a blast. Thank you!!
