LUXURIOUS OCEANVIEW SUITE

This suite is perfect for a couple to get away and explore the area. You can walk to the beach in a matter of minutes. North Rustico is also a couple minutes walk away for a great meal while watching the sunset over the bay, I know, cause we did it and loved it. The lovely hosts also supplied a few drinks to enjoy the stay. They also supplied a beach pass to enjoy the local parks and beaches. Green Gables is less than 30 minutes away to explore a historic homestead. Prince Edward Island is great place to visit and I highly recommend seeing the Anne of Green gables musical. What an idealic place to explore.

We loved our stay at Lantern Hill in North Rustico. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated with windows on 3 of the 4 walls so a view is always available, and a gentle cross breeze can blow through in the night. There was a very generous provision of beach chairs, beautiful thick beach towels, AND a beach pass to the amazing Provincial beach and pathways just a short distance away. We arrived quite late our first night so we really appreciated that the fridge held some water, pop, beer and wine, and on the first morning, a delicious assortment of breakfast muffins and scones was placed outside our door. Other than that we were on our own for food and drink and I prefer that independence to a traditional BnB. There is a wonderful bakery in the village just a short walk away, as well as grocery store, and and of course wonderful places to eat along the harbour. Patti and Susan are gracious and welcoming hosts but never intrusive. We would very highly recommend a stay at Lantern Hill. Thanks you Patti and Susan for sharing your obvious gift of hospitality!

Loved, loved, loved this place. My husband and I stayed three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. This trip was a birthday celebration for me and a birthday I will never forget. It was truly a beautiful place to stay and the area we were in was just breathtaking. Pattie and Susan were so helpful and thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The first morning we found a plate of bakery goods outside of our door and a note wishing us a pleasant day and then on my birthday, a cinnamon roll with a blueberry muffin and a candle on top wishing me a Happy Birthday. (so thoughtful and appreciated) The refrigerator had a bottle of wine and a mixture of drinks and even cream for your coffee. The weather was perfect. Low humidity. Windows were open day and night and the breeze coming in just make it wonderful. Since this is located in the center portion of the island on the coast, we drove one direction along the coastline one day and then the other direction the next day but always looked forward to returning to our place in the evening where it was so quiet and serene. I would definitely love to come back and hopefully stay a week or two.
