New cottage on Sweet Lake. Non-motorized lake (trolling motors allowed) great for fishing, boating and relaxing. Great bike trails down the road. The cottage is fully stocked with all kitchen supplies, linens and bedding along with a washer and dryer for your convenience. A row boat, pedal boat and ping pong table are furnished with the cottage for your enjoyment. Nearby attractions are Michigan Adventure Amusement Park, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Lake Express Cross Lake Ferry, golfing, Lake Michigan beaches, shopping and restaurants. Winter activities include The Muskegon Winter Sports Complex complete with Luging, ice fishing, and 150 miles of snow mobile trails (Twisting Trails opens in December).

My family of 4 vacationed at this home in the summer of 2007. We had a marvelous time. The house is spectacular! You won't be disappointed if you choose this home. It offers it all.....beautiful scenery, wonderful kitchen, plasma screen tvs, video games for the kids, lovely decor. You really can get away from it all, but have the luxury of having city life only about 15 minutes away.

Terrific Vacation

Our family spent the last week in July 2008 at the Sweet Lake Cottage. We had a wonderful time with our 3 children and their families. We went rafting in Indian River, spent 1 day at Michigan Adventure and 2 days at Lake Michigan.
There is also a county park just a couple of miles down the road at Twin Lakes with great swimming and playground equipment for the little ones.
The fishing at the cottage was terrific for the guys and grandchildren.
The cottage has everything you could ask for. Very clean, wonderfully decorated, a great place to kick back and enjoy each other. Thank you to the Savage's for being such wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend your vacation home to friends and family.

You will love this place!

We had a great week at this place. It is even nicer and roomier than the pictures show. It was great for our family because we had enough bedrooms for everyone, and a fully loaded kitchen for cooking in to save $$$. The area is very quiet and you will love the sunset. We were close to lots of things to do and were busy every day, in a fun way, of course. The owners are great; they stopped by after the first night to make sure we had everything we needed, and provided phone numbers in case we had any problems. You just have to come and check out the sand dunes on Mac Wood's dune rides.
