Palm Springs Vacation Rental condo

"My wife and I totally enjoyed our 2 month stay in KC's condo. We stayed for the months of February and March, 2008. The unit faces north so there is no direct sun on the deck of the unitduring these months. This was fine with us because it allowed us to go to the pool deck for sun and when we were tired of the sun we could escape from it on our own deck. Her description of the unit and surroundings were accurate or perhaps even understated.

Upon first enterring the unit it was evident the house keeping personel
had done their job. Everything was in its place and thoroughly
cleaned. The equipment and supplies were first rate. I had no idea when she said the unit was fully equipped that she meant everything from
toothpaste to sunscreen, all cleaning products, spices, tea. All we bought
was the food we ate. She even had wine for us. The barbeque was a big 3 burner first rate unit that was obviously very new. The cable vision
package was an extension of the basic unit providing good coverage of
sports and movies. An internet connection was also provided.

The swimming pool, spa and grounds are beautiful. The pool is very
large making lap swimming possible and enjoyable. The spa is also very
large. The pool is between 82 and 84 degrees and the spa is kept at 102
degrees. There was no algae in the pools at all. The swaying palms,
beautiful flower beds and lawns are very well maintained. Deck furniture was new and very comfortable. And of course there was enough of it,
not like I have experienced at many hotels.

This area, called south Palm Springs, is an ideal location in the
desert valley. Many areas are prone to strong and frequent winds which can actually turn into dust and sand storms. This area is situated at the
beginning of a canyon and is quite protected from these winds. It is
also on the bus route that runs up and down the valley. The bus stops
right outside the condos. Right across the street there is also a
"Ralf's" shopping centre for food and a Long's pharmacy, as well as a number of other shops from restaurants to hair styling. The actual downtown core of Palm Springs is about 3 miles away.

After looking extensively I can definitely say KC's condo is about as good a deal as you are going to get for a single bedroom unit in this
area.
