Reserve your vacation today, check the availability calendar, it is updated daily.*** You will enjoy every moment of your stay in this beautiful authentic log cabin on Tunk Lake! Just put on the rental market recently, everything inside is new and charming. Quietly secluded on a privately owned country road, you have your own beach area, a large front lawn and a great swimming dock. Bring your own boat or rent one from a local vendor and launch it at the cabin for hours of exploring on Tunk Lake. Two kayaks and a canoe are provided for your convenience. Hike the many trails surrounding the cabin or Schoodic and Black Mountains nearby. Locally you will enjoy day trips to Acadia National Park, (Bar Harbor) which is 45 minutes from the cabin by car or 30 minutes by ferry from Winter Harbor.

Beautiful private cabin on a pristine lake!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous log cabin. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything needed. The furnishings, linens and bedding were all beautiful, new and top quality. We felt like we were living in a LL Bean catalogue. We enjoyed paddling around the crystal clear lake in the provided canoes and kayaks. The remote, private location is about a 45 minute drive to the Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park area. It was definitely worth the drive to escape the hustle and bustle of the more populated tourist areas. We also did find some great, scenic hiking trails a short drive away. The management was friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and would love to return someday!

Pictures of this cabin do not do it Justice!!

We rented over July/ August and enjoyed this cabin.The pictures did it no Justice as do the beauty of the view and cabin was bigger then expected.Also the cabin is better looking then the pictures!! We made a good choice on this one.To anyone who rents this one you wont be disappointed.
