Perfect for groups, the house is a short walk from The Maine House & Lake Christopher plus near Sunday River skiing & town of Bethel. This restored, historic farm house offers a combination of country charm with new & modern conveniences. This informal guest house has three separate but adjoining sections which can be used for groups of up to 24; it's perfect for a family vacation while maintaining separateness. Accommodations include hand-crafted fieldstone fireplaces in each suite, private entrances, handicapped access (in two sections), living room, dining room & fully equipped kitchen facilities in each suite. The house has all the basics like pots & pans and sheets & towels, W/D plus a few extras such as TV with built in DVD & VHS and stereo system. The house offers a beautifully landscaped yard & flower gardens plus an expansive lawn, built in fire pit, picnic tables, gas grills, access to the canoes, kayak, windsurfers and other outdoor sports equipment.

Great for large reunion group

This house was ideal for our large group of multiple families with many small children. The common areas were beautiful, clean and spacious and the 1 and 2 bedroom suites, as well as the brilliant layout of the house in general, provided privacy for small families. The lake was spectacular and the front lawn was great for whiffle ball, badminton, soccer, and kids running around. The patio was a great communal gathering spot and the fire pit made for excellent 'smores! Our group is already talking about a return visit.
