Beautifully maintained & recently remodeled ranch on private road near the shore Living room, dining area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an outside shower, and all appliances including washer and dryer. Maintenance-free electric heat and romantic fireplace in spacious living area. Includes large outdoor deck with a screen enclosure and patio furniture. The home also has a glass enclosed patio area for bright sunny breakfasts or evening reading. It sits on a very large private landscaped lot with room to play in. Privacy hedges along the road side and stockade fence for remainder of property. Plenty of trees and greenery in the area provide a country home feeling. Large brick driveway has plenty of room for 4 cars, and includes garage for recreational storage. Excellent location, tennis and basketball courts with ballfield and playground area are right around the corner. Walk or bike to East Matunuck State beach with all amenities (food; bathrooms), a family beach which allows boogie boards and similar beach toys. Canoeing, kayaking, etc available for rental at nearby salt pond. 30 minutes to Newport, 15 minutes to the Block Island ferry, 30 minutes to multiple shopping malls, and 40 minutes to downtown Providence where Waterfire is the hit of a summer evening! If you like to gamble, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are close by in Connecticut. Within 5 minutes to a 4 different marina's (offering deep sea fishing trips), fresh fish, and great restaurants. It is 15 minutes to Yawgoo Valley Ski area (winter) and water park (summer) in RI. All of South County amenities such as restaurants, shopping, amusements, and beaches within 20 minutes. Central location between Watch Hill & Narragansett for easy access to great dining and sightseeing.

It is a distance away from the beach.Too far to walk with carried items. It does have nice large private yard if you have a lot of kids. There is a nice park too right on the next street. There is not a lot of privacy in the master bedroom.The bedroom in the cellar is very damp. It was very clean for the most part a light dusting would have been in order. The televisions and the grill were not in the best working conditions and the furniture was old. The internet and bicycles are very useful and there are many games available for children.
Owner's Response: I provide bicycles for those not wishing to walk to the beach, and now also provide a wagon to help carry heavier items. The master bedroom has now been fully walled off, where one side was previously open. I've also provided a dehumidifier for the lower level bedroom to keep it from getting damp. While there are plenty of tvs in the house (5 in all) I've replaced a couple that were not showing such a good picture. In addition, I placed a new grill into service there, as the old one required a match to ignite the burner. Finally, I also removed two older couches and brought in some new furniture as well. In summary, I am always trying to improve the house and make it family friendly and comfortable.
