Absolutely the best location in Rockport: right in downtown and with the entrance to beach and Shalin Liu Performance Center just across the street: you are in the middle of everything in our beautiful rental residence. Check the map. Only rental residence in downtown in Rockport open year around.
Our house, one of the oddest 'father's' houses in downtown, is just next to the Toad Hall Bookstore and other galleries, shops, restaurants, and cafes in Cultural District Rockport around Motif Number 1 and Bearskin-neck.
Beautiful 1st floor large private apartment: private bedroom with separate entrance, separate private bath with shower and bay window you can hear The Atlantic ocean at nigh and large storage space.
New queen size bed and mattress, sofa, dinning area microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hot pot, HD TV 40' with full cable package, wireless internet. Window air-conditioner. Original painting on theme 'Summer Rooms' as decoration. The bathroom is just newly repainted and floor have been just redone with natural stone tiles.
Please check the photos for accuracy and read the listing carefully. Our residence is listed as one bedroom apartment, but atypical as everything in New England, because there is one large room with separate bath, entrance, and storage. Couldn't be also listed as studio, because there is no kitchen.
On street parking. There is free on street parkin ton Main, Jewett, Beach, and Broadway Street. There is also all day parking next to Peg Leg Motel for $10 per day, three minutes from house.
House is in walking distance from train. you can explore other seacoast's towns Gloucester, Manchester by the Sea, Salem. Boston is just one hour and ten minutes by train away. There is also Lighthouse taxi for $9 between Rockport and Gloucester if you would like to visit some popular Gloucester restaurants, bars and music pubs.
Double occupancy. Extra one maximum two persons can sleep on futon. Minimum 3 nights. Weekly, monthly and winter rental rates available upon request.
Thanksgiving weekend minimum 4 nights.

hi there, my name is renata fryshara. i am new to home away and vrbo, please check my other guests reviews on airbnb. i have 12 year old son renato and dog pepik and small gallery in the same house we live and which we partially rent. before i was teaching art in academy of art and architecture in maastricht, the netherlands, and in montserrat college of art in beverly, united states. before i was for ten years journalist for art back in my country, in the czech republic. i was studying academy of art and design in prague, academy of art and architecture in maastricht, and university of west bohemia in pilsen. right now i teach private art lessons in my studio, having my gallery renata fryshara with my original paintings and jewelry, i illustrate children's book, and write. also on second floor i rent studio year around. right now we have college professor from endicott college in beverly staying with us.

What makes this apartment unique
our house is right in downtown, front beach is across street, back beach is around corner. it is historic house from 1720 and is part of culture district. few houses down is new shalin liu performance center, and all restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries. hard to say what name first: motiv n. 1? and few at least: incredibly beautiful old and new harbor, millbrook meadow, bearskin neck, headlands, halibut point reservation, beaches: front, back, old garden, hedge, and pebble beach, thatcher and straitmouth island, historic museum, kayaking, paddle boarding, ocean paths walking.

Great Location! Close enough walking distance to anything you will need during your time there. Parking my car was no problem at all and I the place was a perfect size for a couple. Will be back again!
