Manchester Vacation Rental house

Just got back from a week stay at this beautiful Lakefront home. It was everything I expected. Looks just like the pictures online. My family really enjoyed our stay. The home is located at a beautiful spot on the lake. The view is gorgeous from the sunroom and patio. It is elevated above the lake. We are planning on returning next year! If you like fishing like we do the lake is full of Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. When you get tired of fishing Cobbossee the Belgrade area offers spectacular fishing. My son caught Smallmouth, Largemouth and Bluegills right from the dock. The house was clean and ready for use when we arrived. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the lake. If you're vacationing for a week make sure you visit Ballards Meats for all of your meats and Seafood. They butcher themselves so the meats are great. They also have lobster, shrimp, scallops etc. We took great care to leave the place as we found it. If you stay here please do the same as we're planning on returning next year. Also if you use the grill clean it before you leave.

We have rented this home several times and plan on third, fourth, etc. We have stayed with in-laws and grandchildren and it has been perfect for both.

We are bass fishing family and bring our boat with us which makes the stay even more enjoyable to roll out of bed, jump in the boat and do some early morning fishing.

This is great for families or just for two. We really love it. The only hard part is getting the date you want, because it has become a very popular summer rental.

It is so refreshing to stay somewhere that is as described in the listing (even better).

We had lots of fun. My boys and I went canoeing every morning early and spotted everything from the Common Loon to an American Bald Eagle. When my husband took them fishing, they caught sunnies & small mouth bass (& would have caught a lot more, says my husband, if the kids weren't so loud.) Daily we all walked around the bend with our toddler to see horses & catch frogs. The kids played soccer, lacrosse, football & wrestled in the sizeable yard. (Another unexpected plus at the lake).

We were secluded, but could have gone with a larger crew (the house was really quite spacious) or just the two of us for a romantic getaway.

One other key factor from someone who has stayed in tons of places across the gorgeous and massive state of Maine: IT WAS ACCESSIBLE and GROCERY STORES & RESTAURANTS, HIGHWAYS & HOSPITALS were a stones throw. Anyone who hasn't visited Maine before THIS IS A HUGE plus for this location. We have been a 40 miles to civilization... and needed milk & eggs, once had a medical emergency, & What a downer on an untraveled road, with no cellular reception & a flat tire. (all true stories)

So location plus the perfect weather, the magnificent sunsets, the spotless & current accomodations, and the beauty of Maine made this the perfect getaway.
