Private home located in Old Station, California at 4,388 feet elevation, with 1,600 feet of private access on Hat Creek -- plus miles of public access to Hat Creek, other streams and lakes nearby. Various fishing attractions include trophy trout fishing on Hat Creek and Yellow Creek, Manzanita Lake, Baum Lake, the Pitt River, Fall River, and Lake McCumber.

There is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (just across the highway), Mount Lassen’s many attractions, Caribou and Thousand Lakes Wilderness Areas, Pitt River Gorge, Cave Campground, world-famous Burney Falls, the McCloud River, and Lake Britton. UC Berkley's Radio Telescope Array is located off of Doty Rd. in the community of Hat Creek, plus much, much more.

This secluded home, 200 yards off Highway 44/89, includes two bedrooms, one with king-size bed and private bath; the other has a queen-size bed across the hall from a full bath. An enclosed sleeping porch provides additional sleeping for four in two bunk beds.

Our home, about 1,280 sq. feet, also includes a spacious living and dining room plus a full kitchen with dishwasher. All linens are provided including bedding and towels. Kitchen includes all cook-ware and dishes.

Washer and dryer, Monitor heater, Dish TV, DVD player, propane Bar-b-q on deck – all included.

Available from April through the middle of November -- weather permitting.

Keywords: Mobile Home built with the addition of a Mud Room for your gear and an enclosed sleeping porch which accomodates four people in bunk beds - in addition to two bedrooms.. Fees And Taxes There is a 10% Shasta County Occupancy Tax charged in addition to the nightly rate. A refundable $100 damage deposit and a $100 pet deposit are required where applicable.

Five great days!

We loved staying here as our home base. Visited our daughters & grandkids camping at Lassen every day! Retreated to this great home at night for comfortable sleeping & laundry. Tent camping gets dirt everywhere! Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the bunk room as her playroom! Ten of the family came to BarBQ on deck one day for dinner & fished the creek. We will be back! Thanks to owners.

Great Time

My wife and I had the best time at Nedra and Dave's place. It was our 26th anniversary. My wife fished every day and caught her limit. Dave, the owner, gave me some pointers and flies and I was able to land three nice trout. It was referesing to have no internet or cell phone service. The place was clean and comfortable. There was plenty do do close by, when we weren't fishing.There are many places to fish near by, but it was reatly nice to have the creek all to ourselfs when we stayed in. We both enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. We can't wait until next summer.

Still Great!

If you go back a few years in the reviews you will note that when we first started staying at Brookhaven we used it for a family gathering place with our 86 year old dad. It was fabulous then and we still use Brookhaven at least twice a year. Dad is gone (fishing trophy waters in heaven), but our family continues to come every year. Dave and Nedra are the best! We use it to fish (some 20" plus this year), introduce the next generations to fishing (an absolutely ideal location), and keep our family connected. We have no doubt that after we're gone the kids and grandkids will continue to come and "remember when..." Brookhaven remains a dream come true in our memories. Thanks Dave and Nedra! Wonderful Week

My wife and I with my son and 3 grandchildren (ages 5-9) had a wonderful time. All of the grandchildren caught their first trout 200 feet from the back deck. Hat creek was high with rushing water but the children were diligent about their life jackets. There was even a place where the water was calmer and the grand children went to swim everyday. This was a great place to spend the week. Loved the fire pit, which was used every night. All the evening meals were prepared on the gas grill located on the deck. We all would highly recomend this as a place to spend some time.
